Guess I'll be taking everyone off ignore so I don't randomly miss important threads...

On the old system, you could see the threads that they started. You just didn’t see their posts.

Nothing is perfect, and the good features far outweigh the quirks. JMO

You guys are absolutely right, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. This isn't a deal breaker or anything! Just something to get used to.

I'm sure this has been covered, but I am too lazy to look for it and too stupid to figure it out. But where are all my old posts, and wi ll all my future posts go into the alert button? That seems ...er ..non-intuitive.

All your posts are here. I just have to rebuild the search index to include them, which I will.

Not sure I understand the part about posts going to the alert button.

Freak, any plans to add the stars back? The ones that denoted seniority.. took me a couple days to realize they were gone.

I think its great! Like I said yesterday, there are only a couple of things I don't like, but I know I'll get used to and forget them. They are really no big deal.

Why did you create a new account ?

This doesn't bother me but I just made my first post on the new system and noticed after I posted that our "likes" count is down by about 2k...just fyi, again no biggie on my end. (I do it for the nookie, not the likes ;))

My old account had a no longer accessible email attached to it and my password was connected to that email. So when the new site launched, I had to re-enter that info to log on. Instead of trying to get a Freak to dig up my old info, I just created a new one.

All those likes I earned over the years.....l.lnow scattered in the wind (blue font)

Newcomer tip: Ctrl + Enter works to execute your post, like sending an e-mail in Outlook.
