He is saying that the program was nuked into near oblivion by last season (4-8) and then the coaching search circus on top of that. It takes more than seven months to recover from that, and "expecting" a Bama UGA like haul of 5*s and high 4* in this class is ridiculous. Especially considering all the other great programs already doing well right now that are after those guys.
Kansas scored 34 against WV. Vols 35, WV 27.
Yes.
I don't think you need top 5 every year, but consistently top 10ish.
Yes or no: Tennessee has more talent on the 2018 roster than the 2013 roster.
Previous 10 SEC East winners and their average SEC East recruiting classes from their previous 5 classes.
2008...Florida...1st
2009...Florida...1st
2010...South Carolina... 4th
2011...Georgia... 2nd
2012...Georgia... 2nd
2013...Missouri... 5th
2014...Missouri... 5th
2015...Florida... 2nd
2016...Florida... 2nd
2017...Georgia... 1st
As you can see, to win the SEC East you almost have to be ranked 1st or 2nd in recruiting in the SEC East over a 5 year stretch. Missouri and South Carolina are the exceptions.
