85 will never miss an opportunity to stir the TA pot. I don't even think he cares, just a hit and run post to see if he can kick up some feelings. It worked pretty good this time. :eek:lol:

Maybe you didn’t see the video? I’ve sang that song a million times and not once was it ever “ok” to say “f*** Tennessee”. Especially singing with a player who didn’t even give Fulmer and Pruitt( presumably) the decency to recruit him. Get real man

Technically he said, "and Tennessee too." But yeah if you are a Tennessee boy through and through, i would think it would be super hard to say. Let alone on a snapchat video that thousands of people will see, with a player that was supposedly all Tennessee and then in a round about way said f*** Tennessee when he chose Georgia. Its kind of like saying a curse word in front of your parents for the first time (you at least hesitate and think, "is this something i should say/do?"). And in this sense, you dont say it.

Minus those 12 days of “not being able to eat”, why the hell hasn’t he gained any weight like Ollie Lane has? I’m sorry, even if Tanner didn’t graduate early, Ensworth has more resources than Gibbs has ever dreamed of. Plenty of opportunity to stay in the weight room and eat whatever he needs. Coming in that light is just laziness.

I thought he got down into the 240’s when he got sick.

I get that what he did wasn’t cool but good grief. Some of these grown men need to let it go. It isn’t a good look to still be obsessing over it 6-7 months later.

To be fair, no one is obsessing over it. It’s my opinion on the matter, and I’m sure I’m not alone. Opinions are allowed.

Also he wasn’t even in the discussion. The future offensive line was being talked about and someone (85) mentioned TA to rile things up.

So, back to Darnell Wright

Not sure. Just making it a point it seems like Lane is much more “all for Tennessee” than TA has ever been.

I'm Ollie Lane: This is why I chose Tennessee football on signing day

Just for accuracy the other poster was correct.

Tennessee football signee Tanner Antonutti endured terrifying virus

“It was Feb. 24,” said Nancy Antonutti, who became a very concerned mother over the next 12 days. “Tanner lost 26 pounds, going from 277 pounds to 251 pounds. It was terrible.”

The strong flu virus that swept the nation had taken hold of Antonutti, and his weakened immune system led to esophageal ulcers that made swallowing painful.

“It was so bad Tanner would carry around a cup just to spit in,” Nancy Antonutti said. “We had to take him to the hospital twice for IVs that week.”

The illness forced Antonutti to miss the final week of the third quarter of school, creating a challenging situation to make up classes and studies for exams.

Antonutti was on the road to recovery when Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt called to check in.

“I was so worried about my scholarship because I’d lost lost all that weight and was down to almost 250 pounds at one point, and Tennessee wants me to come in at 285, Antonutti said. “But he’s my head coach. I had to be honest with him about what was going on.

“So I said ‘I’m back to 268.’ Coach Pruitt said ‘We can’t have you playing at 268, so try to put that weight back on and take care of yourself.’”

Antonutti has done just that. He plays first base and pitches for Ensworth in addition to competing on the track team. Antonutti will attempt to defend his state championship in the discus throw in May.

Since you decided to make baseless statements that he was lazy for not putting on any weight. He lost almost 30 lbs due to a serious illness that hospitalized him multiple times, and gained almost all of it back. Maybe step away and take a breath before making accusations about a kid that are not supported by evidence.

He (other poster) said he was down to 240, and i said i wasn’t sure. I knew he was sick, in February, with the flu, almost half a year ago. Pretty sure everyone on here has had the flu. I’m not saying that getting sick doesn’t suck, but i promise you he didn’t lose 20 pounds of actual weight from being sick for a week and a half.

Either way I’m trying to not fling my opinions around since that’s clearly frowned upon, but as someone who has competed for the University of Tennessee and has a degree from UT, I’m going to have a hard time forgiving someone who trash talks my school no matter if they’re 17 or 70.

So back to Wright.

So either you didn't read article or you are saying he and his mother are liars about his illness and weight loss. Real classy. Don't play the victim for getting called out. If you can have opinions so can we. You like to bash a kid for saying something you didn't like but you don't like it when we bash you for saying something we don't like. You are right to want to get back to Wright though. If you can't handle the response don't be so eager to post yer opinions.

One of my best friends ever was a stripper. She was a single mom with two kids whose physically abusive ex-con ex husband was useless as a provider. She could make more in a night dancing than she could in a week at any regular job she could get. It was rough on her psyche though, she started to drink heavily and recreationally use drugs to numb the pain of it.

She ended up meeting a great guy who got her out of that life, they have been happily married for 23 years and she is now a Sunday school teacher, and goes on several mission trips every year. She always has been one of the best human beings I've ever known.

Of course a lot of the girls she worked with were nasty skanks, but that is true of a lot of professions..

The only question that comes to mind here..... is she hot?

Should have ended it with, "And now you know the rest of the story. Good day."

RIP Paul Harvey
