Special counsel Mueller charges 12 Russian intelligence officers with hacking Democra

For one thing, everyone knows that Obama was still the President of the United States in 2016, the media shouldn't have to report things that are common knowledge to the average 8 year old.

For another thing, Obama has already answered Trump's question. Yes, Obama thought that Hillary Clinton would win the election and he was also too sensitive to the perception that any measures he took during the campaign would be seen as favoritism toward Clinton. Obama made a mistake. He deserves to be criticized for it and he has been. Now, where is the condemnation of Russia from our nation's current leadership?

If asked I was thinking he'll throw out "in the US your innocent until proven guilty, and so far there have only been accusations. Nothing proven. Proof is a great thing. I'm proving people wrong every day. Maybe they'll prove the Russians meddled. Maybe they won't."

This is bull crap. Our intelligence community has proven their case against Russia as well as it can be proven. This isn't going to end up in an American court of law, obviously. Trump has seen the evidence. If he doesn't believe that Russia meddled in the 2016 election at this point, it can only be because he doesn't want to believe it.

I think Mueller would be more than happy to have these 12 indicted Russians turn themselves in and go to trial.

Well, no one can control what you think, so go for it. I seem to remember him filing injunctions to keep his last Russian indictments out of court when they showed up.

"Well, your honor, they didn't show up correctly."

"Try the case, counselor."

"Well, I can't. I can't show my evidence. Will you just trust me on this?"

lol

Don't know if this has been said, but, Trump could make some sort of deal with Putin to bring back a few of these Russians named in the indictment next week for their day in court. Let them go through the discovery process of the evidence. I bet the charges would go away faster than a Krispy Kreme in front of Michael Moore.

I was thinking something similar this morning. If I were Putin, I'd definitely extradite at least a couple of those guys. Mueller did a very very stupid thing by letting the Russians know that we managed to dig down into a Russian intelligence operation - absolutely stupid. Mueller will have to back down because there's no way he can win in court; to do that would require telling the Russians how we managed to infiltrate their intelligence organizations, and that's what any intelligence agency always wants to know and stop.

Mueller may be diligent, and he might be intelligent, but Mueller is a complete fool. Mueller's bluff was called the first time he indicted Russians, but that was't enough for the idiot; he had to double down on stupid. At this point he needs to be fired before he manages to do more damage ... and the damage isn't going to be to Trump.

What is being done by Trump'd foreign policy behind the scenes, and if you know, how do you know?

You sure are spending a lot of tears on sound clips, when 95% of foreign policy is done behind the scenes. As a matter of fact, I'd venture the guess that a huge %%% of public statements per foreign policy is misdirection.

You have any informed idea what Trump's doing? Or are you just going to keep crying because his twitter campaign doesn't fit your expectations?

Yep and you bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Never mind the 30000 deleted emails, never mind the hamered to death BlackBerrys, never mind the DNC did not want to turn over the server to the FBI, never mind Obama said that there was no way the election could be rigged and that Trump should quit whining, never mind Uranium One involving Clinton's, never mind Clinton Foundation ripping off Haiti, never mind classified emails were found on Anthony Weiner's Laptop, never mind the texts between Page and Strzok.

Yeah, nothing to see here. It was all Trump colluding with the Russians and he stole the Election.

Only Fools believe that.

Yeah, none of that is suspicious at all.

* Obama has answered the question posed in his tweet many times. He has done something which Trump never does. He has admitted to a mistake in judgment. He has said that he should have taken steps to counter what Russia was doing but he didn't. He was sensitive to the perception that any efforts he took would be perceived as an attempt to help Hillary Clinton and he thought she would win anyway.

So according to Obama, he didn't need to take action because nothing Russia did could effect the election, but when Hillary lost, it had to be Russia's fault. No consideration that maybe she was just a piss poor candidate that some didn't want to vote for? No consideration that Hillary and her campaign flunked electoral math and ran with a horrible campaign strategy of skipping over states?

Russia did not cost Hillary the election, her own incompetence(and that of her staff) did.

Link an Obama quote from 2016, where he said that Russia couldn't meddle in the election campaign. That is just a "deflection collection".

I think you're putting words in Obama's mouth here. He never said that Trump won the election because of Russia's interference. I actually agree with everything you said (Except that Obama blamed Clinton's loss on the Russians. He never did that.).

Russians being indicted are making Mooler look like a fool. This isn’t going anywhere. Waste of tax payers dollars like this investigation.

Agree. They need an excuse to blame someone for Hillary's Loss and to Deflect from her corruption and lies.

This kind of stuff has been going on for decades from Russia, China, Iran, NK, etc.

Hell, even Obama got caught meddling in the Israeli Election.

Have they? Has any of the evidence been made public, or are we simply taking the word of certain government officials? Has Trump even been shown the evidence, or is that just an assumption? Admittedly, I am a bit paranoid, but do you believe the government is beyond lying to us? When it comes to Mueller and his investigation, there is very little to no transparency whatsoever. I would like to see the proof instead of being expected to believe a narrative hidden within a cloak of secrecy.

According to your post, Obama did nothing because he thought she would win anyway. That implies her win was a foregone conclusion, thus some outside interference must have prevented that from happening, Russia. I mean, honestly, that's what this is all about. The left believes Russia cost Hillary the election. Now they want people to believe Trump was complicit in whatever actions Russia engaged in. No proof of that has surfaced or been presented, but that is certainly the narrative being projected to the public in hopes they'll win some elections on it. This is really just glorified mudslinging meant to restore Dems to power. At some point, you need to quit pretending to be morally outraged and admit what's really going on.

Name a Republican in Congress, (LITERALLY, ANYBODY!) who is currently denying that Russia interfered in the 2016 election. Even Trump's own Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, has said that they did and will likely do so again in the future. The people who have been presented all of the evidence from our intelligence community (Pompeo was head of the CIA for crying out loud!) are in accord with the conclusions they have reached. Russia hacked the DNC, they hacked Podesta's e-mails and they meddled in the campaign.

No. It implies that Obama was simply wrong, just as a lot of people were about the outcome of that election. Obama has never said that Russia's interference altered the outcome. You are putting words in his mouth.

Obama is corrupt as Hell. He did not want to upset the election that he was confident that Killary was going to win.

You're still asking me to believe politicians(people who lie for a living) without actual evidence. I'm not afflicted with partisanship, so I don't tend to follow blindly. I believe in evidence, but I need to actually see that evidence to know it exists. Telling me it exists, then not showing it to me does absolutely nothing.

That makes him corrupt as hell? That sounds more like someone who was trying as hard as possible to avoid even the appearance of corruption. He didn't want anyone to think that he was trying to manipulate the outcome.

So you admit Trump won the election fairly?

Yeah, that's what they want you to believe and you bought it. Congratulations, you've been duped.
