FBI Trump-hater Strozk to testify publicly

Question: If Peter Strzok was so biased in his efforts to help Hillary Clinton defeat Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential election, why did he help draft the letter that James Comey sent to Congress announcing that the Clinton e-mail probe had been reopened following the discovery of e-mails on the Weiner laptop, just 9 days before the election?

The election that 9 days before she had a 90% chance of winning and he didn’t want any sort of announcement.

Strzok co-wrote the letter to Congress. Of course, Strzok and Comey both knew that the Republicans in Congress who supported Trump would leak the letter to Fox News. Comey got out in front of it but so what? They both knew it would be made public anyway and it would have!

The entire point of writing the letter to Congress was to get Congressional authorization for re-opening the investigation. Nothing more, nothing less.

What even is your point exactly (I don't know if you have one TBH)? Are you saying that Comey is justified in violating procedure by publicly announcing the re-opened Hillary investigation because of a highly unlikely hypothetical scenario? This is a direct contradiction to what mainstream Dems are saying.

When have members of Congress ever leaked a highly classified document on an ongoing investigation? If they're such Trump hacks as you claim them to be, why wouldn't they release classified details on the ongoing Trump-Russia investigation?

Could the same not be true of Strzok? Need to keep your narratives straight.

He is still under investigation. He admitted to that after he was asked about it for about the 3rd time today.

I mean come on. 26 year vet of the FBI now works in HR and they took his gun.

It's hilarious. Strzok helped Trump get elected. You can't get around that fact.

How did he do that, because he purportedly had damaging information to Trump’s campaign and didn’t release it?

You still don’t get it. All of this was a safety net. It’s now a facade, a ploy to cover their tracks because they are attempting to sink a sitting president, whom they thought would never so much as sniff the Oval Office.

They're concerning, yes. But giving you reason for concern is not the same as showing a biased action or biased motivation for an otherwise valid action.

The court of public opinion operates under different rules than actual courts. For many, the appearance of bias is all they need to pass a guilty verdict.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense because Republicans in Congress would have just sat on that letter and not leaked it to conservative media outlets such as Fox News, The Washington Times, The New York Post, The Daily Caller and Breitbart, right? Give me a break. It would have been all over every one of them within ten minutes of Congress receiving the letter and Strzok knew that. Comey wanted to explain it but it didn't make any difference. It would have leaked and who wrote it? Strzok did!

At some point we need to realize that about 30% of the electorate is beyond reach. Their only loyalty is to the Great Snowflake Lord Red Hat.

Maybe we can get purple hats in 2020 that match Strozks purple heart that Memphis' own Steve Cohen gave him today..

Who was the idiot Dim that said Strzok deserved a Purple Heart?

Folks, the Dims have lost their damn minds.

I'm sure there are people staunchly loyal to Trump, just as there are people such as yourself staunchly loyal to the Dem narrative. Then there's the rest of us who are okay with the truth but deeply question whether or not that's what we're getting.

How did I know you would say that...?

Funny, that doesn’t wash with his texts to Page......

It’s simple, so let’s try it this way:

THEY DIDN’T GIVE TRUMP A CHANCE IN HELL!

The polls (or was it poles?), which they foolishly believed, dictated that Hillary was in command, but to seem non-partisan, it was reopened. Look at all the track-covering, reluctance and lies since Nov. 2016. I’m sure we’re just maniacal lunatics, though.....

I have kept them straight. The investigation into Strozk has been public and ongoing. And nothing. Nothing in this hearing today but a bunch of idiots arguing over procedure and trying to get sound bytes for campaign commercials. ****boi Gowdy cursing at people so he can seem "strong" even though it made him look like the worthless idiot he is.

Mueller doesn't play this game. He is conducting his investigation properly, with no leaks, unlike that s**t show known as a Republican committee.

Should they have put that off? Reporting the newly discovered emails, that is? Should they have buried evidence? I'm just wondering if that's what you're suggesting?

The letter wasn't classified and it didn't give details into the investigation other than it had been reopened (with a very brief explanation as to why). It would have been leaked by Republicans. That's politics.

And you believe the Democrats played no part in turning today into a **** show?

And how do we know what Mueller is or is not doing since he seems to be operating without oversight?

You are right! We agree on something. Strzok's texts to Page weren't meant to be taken literally. Strzok's actions clearly show that he didn't take any steps toward bias in favor of Clinton and against Trump. To the contrary, his actions helped Trump.

I am not staunchly loyal to the Democratic narrative.

I am almost completely in opposition to Trump and his policies.

Trump as a person is a dick.

Trump as a President has not been the end of the world Dems predicted.

At some point you need to accept he won and move on.
