Keep it classy libs....

To this point, the only response we have seen as a result of Trump's tariffs is that of retaliatory action. It is pure conjecture on your part (as well as political partisanship and Trump fanboy stubbornness) for you to act as though this either has lead to negotiations or will lead to negotiations in the future. This is an exhibition of Trump's arrogance in it's most destructive form and he is bringing the American economy along for the ride this time.
Well at least you admit that it was the (Chinese) that fired the 'retaliatory' tariffs.

Trump is a businessman. He is negotiating. If he were one of the idiot politicians that America told to pound sand, I would agree with you, but this is different.

I like our chances.

Were you this upset when Obama placed tariffs on China?

I've seen several liberals asked stuff like this, if they were mad when Obama done the same things. None of them ever answer?

By Texas law, it can be considered assault. He could also be charged with theft. So here we have an unhinged liberal, who is so pathetic that he cannot handle seeing a MAGA hat, stealing and then assaulting a minor. Yet you somehow treat this as no big deal.

Wow. I knew you were low class but I honestly thought you were better than this.

The libs are becoming completely unglued and making fools of themselves. Actually very funny to witness, keep it up, the mid terms are coming.

...who has made many miscalculations in his career. He thinks this will lead to a negotiation. We'll see.

Outcomes don't matter to most libs; only intentions.

Its no wonder most of them have low skill sets. If something is too hard its just easier to quit, cry like a baby, and blame someone else instead of taking responsibility, figuring things out, and learning.

Why didn't you ask her what the impact of starting the largest trade war in the history of the economy will be? Or how long it will take before the affects of Trump's tariffs will be felt as far down as the shelves at Wal-Mart?

Because deflecting to the Clintons is more fun, right?

I love it when the Left tries to sound intelligent. Tariffs have been around since 18th century. Every country that engages in World trade uses tariffs, including the US and China. Have their economies collapsed? The only difference is previous politicians, like yourself, who know absolutely nothing about economics have allowed China to export trillions of dollars worth of goods to the US while importing relatively few US goods. Many nations unfairly tax US goods, and this isn’t some new development. It was known when NAFTA, GATT, and TPP were being debated. The Left uses apocalyptic language like “trade war” in order to rile up the base and play on people’s fears. It has no ideas other than “government” and it only exists through fear and faux outrage. The fact that Trump is trying to correct the trade imbalance infuriates the Left because it is dependent upon a large welfare class. That can’t happen in a strong economy. The Left needs the economy to fail which tells anyone with the IQ above a ham sandwich that it is an ideology bankrupt of ideas

The tariffs will work and very quickly in China's case. They have enslaved themselves over the last 15 years, as exports increased, by fiercely competing for the same markets. Labor cost has increased but prices have decreased. Just about every item purchased by container now falls into this category. It is their nature to compete until the price is below cost, every man for himself theory. Now, those companies that still export are forced to produce huge amounts of goods with very small profit margins. The export market is much more detailed than this brief but the basic idea stands. Any shift, even a small one, in exports will cause problems with their economy.

What billonaire hasn’t?

Oh he is referring to the elite political class that has gotten wealthy off of the American tax payer while producing absolutely nothing of value except empty words. They hate successful businessman who aren’t brainwashed into their zealotry like George Soros or Warren Buffet. When is the last time you heard a liberal lament Soros’ failings? Every businessman on the Earth in a capitalist system takes risks and that is the crux of it; liberals hate capitalism therefore they despise anyone who becomes wealthy through it

Could have been one of Obama's famous late Friday afternoon pronouncements, and they missed it. He was good at starting things on Fridays, so the press had the weekend to lose it.

Yeah Trump is the only successful businessman to make mistakes in business.

GE's corporate wonders made it seem like a very short step from the top to the bottom. Wouldn't bet against falls by some new enterprising Muskovites either.

China's been playing the trade game a lot longer than that. Okinawa (the Ryukyus), for example, were one of many Chinese trading partners who made significant concessions to trade with China - they were the backdoor between Japan and China for some time. The deal - China had a hand in and advisers on Okinawa to oversee many things - including approving succession when an Ryukyuan king died. That's likely why and how China claims sovereignty over so many remote islands.

China is a cancer but they are communist so the Left sympathizes with them. After all, according to the Left, we started this “trade war”. Chinese communism should have been destroyed during the Korean War

Another example of China's "fair" and classy trade policies.

Sinovel was the largest customer of American Superconductor Corp. And then the Chinese company suddenly began rejecting shipments of American Superconductor's electronic components in 2011.

The Massachusetts tech company learned that Sinovel was using a pirated version of the software it made in the wind turbines it installed.

The ordeal left American Superconductor in perilous financial shape, and Wall Street analysts wrote it off as dead. The U.S. Department of Justice said that the company lost more than $1 billion in shareholder equity and 700 jobs.

Judge Orders Chinese Wind-Turbine Maker To Pay $59 Million For Stealing Trade Secrets : NPR

China ripped off the Russians by first licensing technology and manufacturing rights for military aircraft. Then after a couple of years, when they had stolen everything they needed, stopped paying the fees and kept building the aircraft. You don't play fair with people like that because they don't understand fair.
