I think the fact that he threw a whole drink on the kid and stole his hat along with some choice words is why its news. The Daily Caller isn't the only media source thats picked this story up. I've seen it in several outlets.

By Texas law, it can be considered assault. He could also be charged with theft. So here we have an unhinged liberal, who is so pathetic that he cannot handle seeing a MAGA hat, stealing and then assaulting a minor. Yet you somehow treat this as no big deal.

The issue is the left is attempting to normalize violence as a response to speech. Just like when they claim to mis gender someone is an act of violence.

My county is a pretty key one in swing state. At our 4th of July parade yesterday there were tons of MAGA hats.

Of course that doesn’t necessarily mean anything since libs don’t celebrate the 4th of July in the first place

I disagree. A thirty year old bullying a 16 year old is newsworthy imo. Maybe that particular article is pursuing a political slant, but the overall story itself has merit. Sad when politics motivate you to act like a total idiot. Happens on the right as well.

If the story were reversed, and a young liberal the target, would you still call out trying to push "a larger narrative". JMO, but it's not much different than the MSM and its liberal supporters pushing the Trump/Russia narrative. Take something small and try to blow it up into something big. No actual evidence provided, but let's declare him guilty anyway.

Just an afterthought, you and some others keep talking about letting the Mueller investigation play out. Why? You've already declared guilt so why do we need an investigation?

Just to be clear, according to the article, after taking the kid's hat, the man verbally assaulted him. I thought libs opposed bullying and name calling?

That guy was completely out of line. I dont condone his behavior at all. But what crime was committed? The article I posted outlined two possible crimes against a minor. But I guess because the minor is a Trump supporter, he doesnt matter right?
