By watching his film, youd have been certain that his strength was exploding through holes and ripping off long, 50+ yard runs with great speed on a consistent basis......and nothing could be further from what was the reality from his time at Tennessee since he was a 3 yards and a cloud of dust bruiser once he got to Knoxville.
Fact is, whats most important for a QB, the intangibles of playing the position, cant really be seen or can only be seen in very limited quantities on HighSchool tape imo. And thats why the only logical, prudent, sensible thing to do here is to trust the coaches who have spent time with him and seen him and evaluated him up close.
