The point is, in response to McGills post where he said the same thing, that I am nothing like the narrative that exists about me on here. Nobody who knows me would agree with anything that is said about me routinely on this website

That second sentence is not like you. As a "middleist" I have not been a big fan, but the overwhelming stupidity of the far left is astonishing. He has done some really good things. I don't like how he acts sometimes, and I don't like what he is doing with the NPs and monuments and other gubmint lands, but I have to admit he has done some good too.

The narrative did not come out of nowhere though.

Maybe your message board persona is different than you in real life. Nothing peculiar about that.

Man I think people just mess with you to get you riled up, they do me too. I have a big family with a lot of know it all little brothers and brother in laws. We get after each other pretty hard. One of my brothers is on here, and we got after each other pretty good the other day...I still love him though.

Yeah I need to let it go. But I can't even ask a question anymore about recruiting without someone coming on here and saying I'm panicking about something. It gets old after a while

I can see why people give me heck sometimes, but in real life my rep is completely different. It is the biggest reason I live where I live. Nobody else would take the challenge.

Just play along, a little self deprecation goes a long way. We are all stupid/crazy sometimes, so sometimes you just gotta laugh at yourself.

There are some guys on VN who really are nothing but aholes, but Butchie is the VN equivalent of Walter Mathau.

Wife and I do a Hario pour over with fresh ground beans every morning. It fills two to-go thermoses for work, is cheap, and tastes as good as anything out there. My kingdom for a great espresso setup, but I don't have the money or the counter space.
