TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Right. They didn't concern themselves with a semen stained blue dress, a cigar-penetrated vagina and the consensual sex of two grown adults.

Nobody ever instigated a sexual relationship between adults. It was the lie told under oath that was investigated.

Now, wait a minute... for Bill Clinton to have lied under oath, obviously means he was asked by Ken Starr if he had sex with Lewinsky. How did that line of questioning pertain to the Whitewater land deal?

Kinda convenient to forget it was a subordinate he did this with and performed the act(s) while literally IN office ?

I haven't forgotten that. It just wasn't illegal; nor did it in any way pertain to what Ken Starr had been tasked to investigate. He expanded his scope because the American people either didn't understand the Whitewater scandal or simply didn't care about it. It wasn't making much press or damaging Clinton politically.

It is literally the very definition of sexual harassment!!

Clinton did it to himself with his actions and his mouth. And is exactly why Trump should tell Mueller to go to hell and subpoena him.

Meh, it's only sexual harassment if Lewinsky says it was... and to this day, she has never said anything close to that.

The Whitewater investigation was over and done with minus a couple on going trials and sentencing.

Starr was closing up shop when asked to look into it by Reno because of allegations coming from the Paula Jones suit. She thought it would be a quick and easy way to put the allegations to bed. It backfired.

Nice retort. An employer having consensual sex with an employee is not automatically sexual harassment. There are countless examples of powerful executives dating and even marrying subordinates. Bill and Linda Gates at Microsoft comes to mind.

If Monica Lewinsky says she wasn't sexually harassed, then she wasn't.

I agree, 1990s standards she was not harassed. Today?

It was the only reasonable reply to your rationalization BS. The Clinton-Lewinsky scenario is a textbook case of sexual harassment and misconduct in the work place.

Yes indeed there are means for romance in the workplace. It also requires disclosure and separation of reporting chain. A quickie in the Oval Office with an intern doesn’t fit the bill.

I repeat.

I heard she hot boxed Bill’s cigar in one breath, with her jay-jay.

I don't believe that Janet Reno asked Ken Starr to look into allegations of consensual sex between Clinton and a White House intern.

It doesn't "require" a damn thing when one of those involved is the freakin' CEO and the other is a more than willing participant.

L O L again. Your scenario is still 100% WRONG.

God I really hope your comments aren’t s result of your companies sexual harassment training. If so they’re doomed to be sued into oblivion.

You keep saying that but you're wrong. Starr went to Reno and requested permission to broaden the scope of the investigation.

We've been over this multiple times.

Jan. 16, 1998: Starr contacts Attorney General Janet Reno to get permission to expand his probe. Reno agrees and submits the request to a panel of three federal judges. The judges agree to allow Starr to formally investigate the possibility of subornation of perjury and obstruction of justice in the Jones case. Tripp and Lewinsky meet again at the Ritz-Carlton. FBI agents and U.S. attorneys intercede and take Lewinsky to a hotel room, where they question her and offer her immunity. Lewinsky contacts her mother, Marcia Lewis, who travels down from New York City by train. Lewis contacts her ex-husband, who calls attorney William Ginsburg, a family friend. Ginsburg advises her not to accept the immunity deal until he learns more.

Poor little girl going out of her way to get a front row seat for this harassment. She looks terrified.

That is begging for as lawsuit, especially if it's the CEO. Let a corporate board find out about that. Their job is to protect the company, most especially from the CEO's penis.

Now, that you mention it... I have had a co-worker who was hired by, dated and married her manager. As far as First Tenn policy went, she just had to be transferred into another department. They couldn't be under the same supervisor. I have two tellers right now who everybody in the branch knows are bangin' each other. It's not uncommon or sexual harassment.
