One of the things D4H totally disregards is intangibles. There are several college players that are fantastic and lack the initial D4H eye test.

I don't think you don't understand what you're talking about. The biblical concept of tithing is to give the first of your wages back to the Lord as an expression of faith. Its up to the leaders in the church to steward that money well. Some are better than others, and that's on them, but giving to the work of the Lord is a biblical principal, not a man-made principal
