Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Here's The Number Of Firearms Deaths In Tennessee | Nashville, TN Patch

BAN all hands, fists, feet, and other body parts.

I say we ban Loother's brain. He's killin' us.🤣🤣🤣

No, keep him here. Some of the stuff he posts is hilarious. His predictions on Trump's impeachment; politics in general; and now the gun stuff. All priceless.

And if he slows down, you just give his rope a tug, and off he goes again.

This has been the quickest offseason I can remember in years. Football will start back up in a couple of months. We can ignore him then. But for now, good stuff.

Fine, thanks. Just sitting here in my underwear...drinking a PBR...staring at my "Wallace for President" poster and counting all of my ammo. Y'know, just another normal day for me.

Hey, I heard ACE Hardware has a sale on post-hole diggers. That set you've got has to be almost worn out.....

Dems didn't have 2/3 you moron. It still would have required political capital.

They had 58 seats and the 2 independents cacused with the. That makes 60 which is filibuster proof.

Let me express it this way so you’ll understand Dems had x seats and the Rs had y seats and the x vs y could pass anything.

He's moved the goal posts since the whole "x rounds in y seconds" thing. Now he just wants to ban them, period. Standard Alinsky strategy. No surprise there. He comes from a proven fertile recruiting ground for Socialists.

It is what it is.

 Someone is probably too stupid to get your joke.

Maybe thinks it's just another political post.

Luther reminds me of this laborer that worked for me a while back. Dude thought he was way smarter than he was, so much so he was dangerous.

Yep. Just sit back and let 'em keep talking. Eventually they'll slip up and tell you what they're really after.

Works every time. Tripped himself up on guns, and he's 54 days away from a crow pizza on Trump.

I was serious about him needing a new set of post-hole diggers.

"Moving the goal posts" may be one of the most warn out phrases of 2018. I never retracted the x to y ratio. It's brilliant. There was also never a point when I didn't wish to ban AR 15s. No inconsistencies here. No "MOVING THE GOAL POSTS".

I'll interpret between the lines for you: any x to y ratio would be set below the AR 15 ratio.

Not if z (the independents) did not play along. Once again, you are wrong. You remind me of an employee I once had who was emotionally incapable of ever accepting that he was wrong.

Back to DACA, Trump is not willing to expend the political capital to get a bill passed. It's on him, not the dems.

Mini-14? M-14? M-1? Ruger 10/22?

All of those can achieve the AR's "x to y ratio".

And then there's the Glock line, with mags holding up to 30 rounds. Gotta add those to the list.

Couple of magazine fed scatterguns out there now. Make more room in your cart.

Yes, you've moved the goal posts. If you're tired of hearing it, then stop doing it. You're about to have to move them again in, what...54 days and counting when Trump is still in office?

Good Lord, luther...you seem to know very little about firearms, in particular which guns are capable of rapid, sustained fire...be it either by large or small capacity magazines...and yet you act all high and holy when it comes to telling us what we do and don't need?

Get off your high horse. You want to make a difference? Run for office, then try to put your legislation in place. You might have a shot over on the left coast. I'm guessing you won't make much headway in Buford, Georgia.

Otherwise, the only thing that separates you and David Hogg is that he managed to find people who would listen to him. And he's what, an 18 year-old high school student?

You're in good company.

If you're representative of the anti-gun crowd, I can stop worrying about the future. My guns are safe.

And so is my home.

EDIT: Pay attention to what's happening over in Merry Olde England right now. A liberal government is in place, and journalists are being arrested, tried, and sentenced almost overnight for reporting on stories the government told them not to report on. Not because the information threatens national security; because it's unflattering to the government. There's no First Amendment in England.

Oh...they have no Second Amendment either, and England is a disarmed country. The very same one our forefathers fled, and were wise enough to include the Right to Bear Arms when they wrote the Constitutional Amendments.

There's your utopian vision of a gun-free nation. And of course, England is an "enlightened society", much more advanced and civil than say Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, China, et al.

Well, unless you're a journalist.

Hate to hear you were worrying about the safety of your home and guns. That must be a heavy cross to bear, but it helps explain your over sensitivity to the issue.

In 54 days, if Trump is still pres., it will not mean I'm moving the goal posts, it will mean that I missed the kick. Not so subtle difference.

When you are the only one that thinks your idea is brilliant, it’s not.

No, you'll move them. Different topic, different position, same stance...new goal posts.

It's Memorial Day. I have four beautiful ribeyes and a piece of Alaskan Salmon that came to me on dry ice less than 48 hours after it was caught in the Great White North, all marinated and waiting in the fridge. Got some asparagus, zukes, and fresh green beans waiting on the grill as well (you should try it, delicious). The Yuengling I just cracked is so cold it gave me brain freeze. Skies are clear, but storms coming later.

I'm gonna go spend time with my family and get a food coma. Why don't you go do the same? Let's just agree to disagree, and I'll do my best to look the other way when you post something that makes me wonder what's in the water supply up there.

I don't lose a wink of sleep over the safety of my home. The shepherd will give me the 10-15 seconds I need to orient and start moving. After that, I like my chances.

As for the heavy cross to bear, it was born by those whose efforts are marked with simple white marble headstones...or no marker at all...in cemeteries located literally all over the world. I was one of the lucky ones.

I'll hoist a beer to their memory today. You ought to do the same.

See now I know you are FOS, you’ve never had an employee.

Plus those 2 independents caucused with the Dems and I dare you to find me a vote they didn’t vote with the Dems.

Now my little pea brained friend, DACA is all on congress, all of them. They could fix that tomorrow but won’t, because the Rs don’t want to be seen as giving “amnesty” and the Dems want to keep the issue alive for the mid-terms. They’re all guilty.

Bernie Sanders and Joe Lieberman not play along? One is a socialist and the other was a former vice presidential nominee who voted with the Democrats over 90% of the time during his sixteen years in the senate.

Deal:

Brauts and sauerkraut with my wife's potato salad for me. Shock Top will be the beer hoisted.

There was a reason Lieberman went independent.

Because the Democratic Party turned his back on him?

Not true. Just like with Zell, the party progressed more than the individual. That's why ultra righties are pissed at what they cal Rhino's. The republican party has progressed more than many can tolerate. However, there's no place for them to go so they try to keep a death grip on the party. Dems. that don't progress can become independents or moderate republicans. It's all part of societies' natural movement to the left.
