From the article:
The math for Abrams looks (roughly) like this:
Win 90 percent of the nonwhite vote. (Thats doable in part because the vast majority of that electorate is black voters.)
Make sure nonwhites are 40 percent of the electorate through intense get-out-the-vote efforts. (Thats at least plausible because almost 40 percent of Georgias citizen voting-age population is nonwhite.)
Win 25 percent of the white vote. (Thats doable without Abrams being particularly strong in rural areas because a huge part of the Georgia white population is in the Atlanta suburbs.)
Seems doable. Have you seen the two repubs? They're going to spend the next nine weeks trying to out "I'm a politically incorrect ultra conservative" each other. This will turn off thousands of middle of the road voters. Plus, Trump will do something insanely stupid between now and election day (if he is even still in office.)
Trump had absolutely no chance in the mind of any rational person.
Meh, you should give ground here. She has no chance. One thing that bothers me about conservatives on here is that they don't know how to concede an argument (see tumscalcium's posts on the last few pages).

When looking at the transcript of the back and forth exchange with Sheriff Mims it's easy to see that Trump was talking about MS-13... and he has directly referred to MS-13 members as "animals" in the past. So sure, there is no story there. Now, having said that... in spite of his tough-guy rhetoric, Trump's administration is not focusing on deporting people who have committed particularly heinous crimes, gang members or people with criminal records. He talks a better game than he plays: ICE arrests of immigrants WITH criminal records are actually down from the Obama years (you will NEVER hear that said on Fox News but it's true).
Fox News just ran a segment with the title: "Is Religion Moving too Far to the Left?" This network is compulsively preoccupied with the formation of identity politics. What they were really asking was "Is Pope Francis too Tolerant of Those Whose Beliefs are Different Than His Own?"
Much like Trump, they thrive on division and then shame anyone who dares to be a moderate.
The people who think Fox News is terrible appear to watch it a lot more than the people that like it.
Same short lived outrage when the socialist Democrats go on the black church tour in campaigns?
