Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Earth to Chuckie, he was talking about MS-13 type gang members. The context was 'bad hombre' MS-13 type gang members. Were your great great grandparents murdering gang members?

More Chuckie pointless spin, who damn well knows what Trump means.

When looking at the transcript of the back and forth exchange with Sheriff Mims it's easy to see that Trump was talking about MS-13... and he has directly referred to MS-13 members as "animals" in the past. So sure, there is no story there. Now, having said that... in spite of his tough-guy rhetoric, Trump's administration is not focusing on deporting people who have committed particularly heinous crimes, gang members or people with criminal records. He talks a better game than he plays: ICE arrests of immigrants WITH criminal records are actually down from the Obama years (you will NEVER hear that said on Fox News but it's true).

How many “catch and release” were counted as arrests? Trump has amped up security at the border, automatically decreasing the number. Can’t arrest them if they never cross.

Now, how many do you think Obama purposely let in and promptly doled out the “catch and release” charade, then counted it as an arrest?

Naïveté is deep in this one.

Per Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen (this is the woman who almost quit in April after being berated in front of the entire cabinet for this very thing), border crossing numbers in March spiked - up 200% over last year including an 800% increase in unaccompanied children and 680% in families.

You didn’t answer me. IDGAS what “number” you pull out of the air, how many were counted as arrests that were catch and release?

In case the English language is hard for you to interpret, let’s dumb this down to grade school level:

Let me start by saying I don't think this is a big deal... just another symbol (literally) of Trump's narcissism. Business Insider is reporting that ahead of next month's planned Summit between Trump and Kim Jong-un (which may or may not even take place), the White House has had a commemorative coin produced which will be for public sale. The coin includes profiles of both Trump and Kim with the description of Kim being "The Supreme Leader"... Most notable about the coin? Kim's double chin remains intact while Trump's jaw has been streamlined. LOL!

Does it get any more "Trumpian" than that? You have narcissism, shameless self promotion and opportunism presented in one neat little package.

On Tuesday night, President Donald Trump will deliver the keynote address at the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List’s Campaign for Life Gala. His adviser Kellyanne Conway will receive the organization’s Distinguished Leader award.

Giving pro-life awards to these two individuals recalls a familiar irony in American politics. The ends justify the means, even if the means had to grab a few pu**ies or pay off a few porn stars to get there.

I find it strange that a pro-life organization has hijacked the name "Susan B. Anthony" to begin with. For her time she was as liberal as a woman could possibly be. She fought hard for women's suffrage and against laws that gave husbands complete control over the finances of their wives. Per a leading academic authority on Anthony, Ann D. Gordon, Susan B. Anthony "never voiced an opinion about the sanctity of fetal life... and she never voiced an opinion about using the power of the state to require that pregnancies be brought to term". Based on other things we know about her though, it seems more than likely that she would have been pro-choice... but because she never argued one way or the other, this organization feels at liberty to use her name which (falsely) implies that she was well established as pro-life.

It clearly implied it on the coin. "IN GOD WE TRUST"
