People forget, or don't know, that Jordan was so great on defense. You say Micheal Jordan and people think, scoring. He was one of the greatest defenders in NBA history. He would've won 3 or 4 defensive POY, but he** they couldn't give him every trophy.

If a 16 year old can’t deliver a 3 point sermon with precision, I just say we pass

On a barely related note, when did modern preachers start defaulting to the magical "3 points" for a sermon? What if the text has 2 or, heaven forbid, 5 points!? I don't see Jesus nor Paul limiting themselves to this format (and don't get me started on alliteration!!).

My heart, all of a sudden, feels strangely warmed...

I would say Duke bends the academic requirements for its high level basketball recruits at least. Idk how else to explain a guy who believes the Earth is flat getting into Duke

Unabomber is a genius. Graduated from Harvard. Didn’t care if the world was flat, needed to blow things up so it would give up using electricity.

U know there is not true pic of the Earth from outer space, just composites, even NASA admits that. Not saying I buy it, but certain videos/scientists make some fascinating theories. I gave my conspiracy theory loving wife he!! about this flat-Earth theory. After reading and watching certain videos, I was amazed. Still don't buy it, but some of their points make crazy sense. Plus, it doesn't hurt that I rack up the brownie points with the wife, when I actually show interest and breakout of my government brainwashing, as she likes to say

If you watch any feed of a SpaceX or NASA launch they have cameras on the ship and you can see clear as day the Earth is not flat lol heck they just had one today actually. But most flat earth believers say the Sun and Moon are both actually much smaller than we believe and that they both orbit above the Earth right? Well if that were the case how would the Moon ever be a crescent moon? A crescent moon shows the shadow of the Earth on the moon and shows the curvature of the Earth. Also, if the Earth is flat why is no other object in space flat? At the end of the day I've never understood why someone would be willfully ignorant and believe something that was disproven in what, the 1600's?

It’s not a crescent moon because of the earth’s shadow as that would be an eclipse. It’s crescent shaped due to our vantage point from the earth. Pretend you’re in a dark room and turn on a flashlight behind you, meaning both you and the flashlight are facing the same direction. Then put a ball in front of you without casting a shadow on it. You’ll see the entire round profile of the ball. When you put it 90 degrees to the side, it should look like a half circle, and so on. Same principle applies to the sun, earth, and moon.

You are correct. Posting while half asleep is not something I'm great at. Using an eclipse as an example to disprove flat earth nonsense would have been the better option
