TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

The fact that most Trump supporters are against him testifying is telling. He has convinced the trumpers that he is the victim and that it's the evil justice system that we should condemn.

I'm against anyone testifying against themselves in a GJ hearing.

That makes great sense and I agree that neither President can take credit for the unemployment rate being as low as it is... and yet when Trump supporters begin citing his supposed accomplishments, they almost always start with the low unemployment rate. Fox News never gave Obama credit for the drop in the unemployment rate during his 2nd term but they mention it almost every day for Trump.

How about annual GDP growth under Obama never hitting 3% growth? Does he get credit for that?

In fact during Barry Hussein’s entire 8 years he never hit his annual GDP forecast. Not once.

I have no doubt you would. You strike me as guilty until proven innocent guy. Unless they are on your side of course.

Not at all. The firing of Comey was an obvious attempt to obstruct the investigation, unless Trump has some other plausible explanation he would like to offer under oath.

The Air Force 1 meeting to concoct a cover story for the hotel meeting with Russians is obviously an attempt to obstruct justice, unless of course Trump has some other explanation he would like to offer under oath.

etc...

Do you know how perjury traps work, when dealing with rouge “unfettered “ prosecutors?

Federal Judge Could Be A Nightmare For Special Counsel Mueller

Judge Ellis III VS Robert Mueller | The Daily Caller

In the end, Ellis asked Dreeben if he had anything to add.

“No thank you, Your Honor,” he said.

“Good choice on your part,” an angry Ellis replied. “Thank you for your arguments,” he told Dreeben. “They were entertaining

I didn't realize Mueller had been fired?

I'm guessing you are referring to Comey and no, Trump owes no one an explanation for his firing. The Director of the FBI works at the pleasure of the AG and POTUS, can be fired for wearing the wrong tie.

I am sure that you think that Trump is so stupid that he thought firing Comey would stop the investigation dead in its tracks.

I always chuckle at the responses of defending Comey when the entire DNC wanted his head on a platter at one point.

Exhibit A in the president’s defense. The Comey memos with Trump. The libtards obviously forget about those.

He can't be fired to stop an investigation of you and your inner circle. That's called obstruction.

It shouldn't be that hard to rationalize.

Comey cost Clinton the election. (one of several things)
His greatest penance for the above infraction would be the ouster of Trump.

Easy to hate what he did and then cheer for his penance, the two are hardly contradictory.
