'19 FL PG Tre Mann

Kira Lewis is gonna jump from 81 to top 25?

Who said we wouldn't take the others?

Kira Lewis has Kentucky following him around, Tre Mann doesn’t...so yes it’s very likely Lewis passes Mann in the next update, if you need the quotes I can provide them.

If we would take both then that proves my point, one wasn’t clearly ahead of the other, coaches saw both (or all 3 including Tandy) as takes.

If both are takes then a preference hasn't been shown

Imo both aren't. I hope I get proved wrong

My argument is that Mann was at the top. I don't think there's any question about that. Were there others up there with him? Maybe. Would we have taken others with him? Maybe.

Was he at the top? No question IMO.

As we both said the vols were thinking commitment when he came to campus. Pretty clear we aren't gonna win this one. This guy was obviously a priority. Discouraging.

Like I said. Lewis said a week or so ago on VQ when asked that Tennessee likes Tandy/Lewis/Mann and that they would take a commitment from any of them if they were to call and commit. No that doesn’t mean they would take all 3, it means that they like all 3 at least enough to take any one of them first. Mann let the coaches know he was ready to get things going, if Tennessee didn’t bring him in then they had zero chance, bringing him in on an OV doesn’t mean he’s their #1, it meant they liked him enough to take a commitment and that he was ready to take OV’s where as other guys aren’t.

There’s about 8-9 priorities, can’t take them all. That’s my point. Mann was further along in wanting to do something than the other guys, you don’t pass up on him OV’ing.

If you are saying Mann is clearly the top priority then how would you play it if Mann says he’s waiting til October to take visits...Tandy tells you I’m done with this process, I wanna visit UT and maybe Cindy and then decide coach, what do you do? You say because he’s not top priority you pass on him? Hell no. You bring him in and if he commits then great, 2 in the hand type stuff.

You are talking as if we don't understand how recruiting works.

Nobody is saying Mann is the top of the list because he was the first visit. You're just talking to us as if we are that stupid.

From Florida Rivals site, much different tune than what RL was saying...

Florida played host to a top local prospect as four-star guard Tre Mann made an official visit to Gainesville Tuesday through this morning. The 6-foot-4, 170-pounder from The Villages (Fla.) High School was accompanied on the visit by his mother, father, step mother and cousin Mike Williams.

GatorsTerritory.com spoke with Williams to get his take on the visit and where things stand in Mann’s recruitment.

“It went good,” said Williams of the visit. “I think the leaders are Florida and Tennessee right now.”

Currently ranked the No. 37 prospect in the Rivals150 for the 2019 class, Mann holds over 20 scholarship offers with more schools entering the picture. Most recently Arizona State offered this afternoon and Kansas offered on Monday.

“Kansas offered but I don’t know how much they’re calling and they late in the game,” said Williams. “He liked the Tennessee visit and the Florida visit so I think from there he’ll narrow it down to those and he might take a look at UCF too, for Johnny Dawkins, but that’s probably pretty much where he’s at right now. I can’t say later on but right now that’s where he’s at.”

We asked Williams, who has been to Florida’s campus multiple times with Mann on unofficial visits, if in some ways this visit was more for Mann’s parents given Mann’s familiarity with the campus and coaching staff?

“You’re exactly right,” he said. “They liked the visit, same way they liked Tennessee. But they’re kind of like me I’m going to leave the decision up to Tre to make the decision on what he wants to do because us telling Tre ‘hey this is this and this and that’ I don’t think that will work well. You know what I’m saying? We’re going to advise him but we’re going to let him figure this out on his own on where he wants to go.”

With visits to Tennessee and Florida completed, Mann can take up to three more official visits before making his school choice. Once thought to be targeting a decision late in his senior year and being a spring signee, the finish line of Mann’s recruitment appears to be much closer.

“I think he’s going to announce where he’s going before November,” said Williams. Perhaps by the end of this week we asked? “Nah not that soon.”

So why is he clearly top of the list, because he is CURRENTLY the highest ranked?

Does Lewis have a Kansas offer?

Lulz

That is a nice offer, now compare how many P5 offers each one has. Impossible that Kansas like the style of Mann over Lewis? So 1 singer offer from another school dictates our priority list? Fascinating, even for you Ziti.

I love it when you try to come back at me and just structure your posts to look like mine.

That's when I know you're running out of bs talking points.

I'm sure we had plenty of guys we liked better than #39 4* Tre Mann. We dodged a bullet when Florida swooped in.

Starts looking like Florida and immediately BTO is in with the "well we don't know if the staff liked him as much as the rest of the guys" bs.

So predictable.

Please link where I said that?

Just as predictable as you jumping with joy and deciding this was our clear cut #1 overall target so that you can use it to say Barnes whiffed yet again...how predictable.
