Kids aren't committing very often at all on visits anyway but they dang sure aren't without pressure.
When you bring a kid in on an OV the goal of the staff should be to have that kid leave town committed or thinking that he doesn't need to take any more visits.
We are talking about OV's here. In many cases the recruitment has been over the course of months if not years.
By the time they take an OV we should be thinking "lock it down" and not "ok son, go ahead and visits some more schools while we wait."
Not at all. If it gets done it gets closed.
How many lower ranked guys have we missed on?
It ain't many so we ain't struggling.
Bowden was a hometown guy. Easily understandable why he was easier than most. I expected Fulkerson to be the same way but we know he wasn't
Bruin - you're bending over backwards here to avoid the truth.
It doesn't have to be on the actual visit.
I'm not gonna continue to try and convince you. Like I said, Bleed agreeing with me is enough for me to know I'm not off base on this one.
I think we should be bringing in more on OVs.
As I have said many times. I agree we are struggling to close if we are pressuring these kids to commit on visits.
I just believe what the man has said
There is a big difference between over pressuring and trying to get a commitment from a kid.
Do you think Barnes wants players to go on other OVs where they will almost always be pressured by other schools to make a commitment?
Seems like a strategy to always have the disadvantage.
I agree that's a loss and criticism needs to be given there. However if it Meant getting harris there is likely a reason we didn't go that direction
