Qft. Kyle is no 5. He guards the rim but on offense he's no 5. If he plays professionally, he won't be a 5.

What position he plays professionally has nothing to do with where he plays in college...Josh Richardson didn’t play much PG in college, but he plays quite a bit of PG in the NBA.

So does our team not play a 5, or is Grant/Admiral the 5?

Grant plays the 5 on offense most of the time. Kyle has ran plays for the 5 on occasion but very infrequently.

Get your ass down in the paint tall guy. Dang this motion offense is hard for old guys that remember 6 on 6

What about when Grant is out of the game?

So we cross positions offense to defense each possession?

On defense it's more about match-ups. When Grants out usually Walker has played the five. How many times do you recall Kyle posting up? Is the 5 usually listed as a forward on the roster?

I recall Kyle posting up multiple times every game?

I’m genuinely asking, so in your opinion we play 1,2,3,4,4?

In today's basketball? Especially in college? It kinda is. The days of 6'11" or 7-foot monsters in the paint are quickly dying. They are still used, but even Kyle Alexander, who is about 6'11", isn't your typical center. He's not a huge guy who you throw the ball to in the paint and let him go. He's a rim protector who doesn't have the best offensive game. I wouldn't call a 6'8" or 6'9" guy a "true" center, but that's the way a lot of rosters are run now.

It depends how the 6'8 guy plays. Wenyen Gabriel might be that tall, but do I want him guarding 6'10+ guys? No.

I went to every home game save a 2-3. I can tell you with certainty that Kyle posted up maybe 10 times all year. Now I'm talking about a serious post up not a glorified pick. We do not have a true 5 on the roster right now. I'd love to have one. Also, I love Kyle but he's no 5.

He posted up waaaaaaay more than 10 times.

Your off on that one, bro. He isn't a traditional 6-11 280 lb. Center who lives solely in the paint, but he posted up more than 10 times this year. That's a silly take.

He's been told by literally everyone his take is silly for months now. It's better just to laugh at him

Go watch some of the games. I bet less than 5% of our low post offense went through Kyle.

And Bruin, I'm sure you're doing your thing but rest assured that I have seen none of them. Your trolling is useless.

Well I watched every game, home/away/neutral and can say that is wrong...if I need to post 10 pictures I will...he had at least 10 shot attempts that were turn around jumpers off entry passes into the post. That’s not counting any other move or pass out of the post, just simply those turn around jumpers from 10-12’ that he took.

Sorry, I have to disagree. His post up game was non-existent. You're welcome to hold a different opinion. :hi:
