Wtf is going on in Fla sheriffs depts now?! Over react much?
Florida sheriff takes zero-tolerance approach to school threats, arrests almost 30 students in 2 months | Fox News
CWV would have grounded his ass silly for touching an AR.
Our so called lawyers are obsessed with Trump. They don't have time for such silliness as this. They are probably doing research right now as to how Melania planned the State Dinner, so they can b!tch about it.Her.
But no, CWV is one of the good guys when it comes to this. If he decided his daughter was of the age to learn about firearms safety and learning to shoot and he took her to a range. Later, let's say she bragged about it to a friend talking about "her cool day shooting with Dad" or posted it on MyFaceTweet or whatever kids are using these days. And that friend in turn reported her to the school faculty and/or SRO for no other reason that exercising her Constitutionally protected Second Amendment Right. And they brought her in for questioning, you'd better believe he'd be in that main office wanting to chat with the faculty and SROs.
And I'd dare them to pull In Loco Parentis on him. He'd have a field day with that one.
No, our lawyers on here aren't chiming in because they know I'm right. The school and the SROs were way, way, way out of line.

I don't mind the questions, but if they handled it like the kid say they did then they effed up.
I do mind the questions.
Since when is going to a gun safety course and shooting with one's parents illegal or cause for suspicion?
A student should not post anything on social media showing him armed and shooting a gun unless he WANTS to be called in and questioned. Plus, he was told repeatedly that he had done nothing wrong.
I think all students are aware that in today's climate, posting gun activity on social media is a guaranteed ticket to visit the resource officer.

That is ridiculous. I guess add 1A to the list of amendments you want to fix.
