They wont be toast but I dont get the idea of investing in a space where your competitors have copied your mousetrap. I dont think the concept was a bad one, but the element of surprise is gone. Unless youre headed 100 miles off the coast to chase fish I dont think youll ever realize the potential of the products.
they're toast because the thing they had going for them was brand image. price was beat, quality is matched, brand isn't as strong as it was just a few years back and now it's an unwelcomed image to their customer demo. sales will drop fast.
