I am very impressed by Lecque but before we concede he is a one and done I would like to see him hit a few jumpshots with a hand in his face but it's fun to watch him drive to the basket.

Back to Lecque: He said in an interview before when talking about reclassifying that he views himself as a one and done player, and if the situation he wants to go into doesn't allow him to be one and done in 2018-19, then he's fine with not reclassifying and staying in 2019 class. So I'm not sure if that opportunity would present itself to him this cycle, but it might in 2019. I just wouldn't get my hopes up about him coming period, but especially in the 2018 class.

There is 25mpg staring him in the face at Tennessee, a preseason Top 10 team, I think the opportunity is definitely available for him at Tennessee in 2018. IMO our chances of landing him are much higher in 2018 than 2019.

Highly agree . If he stays in 2019, he will be going to a blue blood school .

Barnes left Texas and is in South Carolina for the Phenom Hoops Challenge, that is where Josiah James is playing this weekend. Nike, Adidas and Under Armour are all in Dallas and that’s where most coaches have spent their time, it’s where every target on UT’s board is playing except for James. Schwartz has been in SC all weekend watching James and now Barnes has joined him, to me that means Tennessee feels they are in this one at the very least.

Where are you seeing 25 minutes per game for him? At the 2 guard spot? Because Turner and Bone are going to be playing point more than he will, even if he is a five-star. He has the height for the 2 guard spot, so I could definitely see that, though.

Just because he is taller doesn’t mean he has to play the 2...Daniel averaged 20mpg and Darrington 5mpg, so there’s 25mpg that departed from last years squad that you can point to on paper and say is immediately available.

To be fair Daniels and Darrington weren't playing those minutes the last 1/3 of the year. Bones and turners minutes had risen and I don't see them going down

Bone 25/Lecque 15
Bowden 10/Turner 20/Lecque 10
Schofield 13/Bowden 15/Pons 12
Williams 25/Schofield 15
Alexander 25/Walker 15

If Bone played 25 and turner played 20 the last 10-15 games then I agree

I don't know how much they played

Bone averaged 25mpg over last 10
Turner averaged 29mpg over last 10

However Walker wasn’t getting 15mpg and Pons wasn’t getting 12mpg, so could pull some from those guys.

If Lecque reclassifies, he is coming to start. Either Bone or Bowden are going to the bench. He wants to be a one and done.
