Why is that wrong? It is the practicality of an education to put it to use, not just be an educated idiot.

i can understand that, my brother went to a trade school for welding and today he is making boat loads of money

Some jobs require certain degrees. What do you want to do when you, umm, decide?

then call it what it is. A glorified trade school. Don't try and pretend it is higher education. Because it isn't.

College should be both, they are not exclusive.

I want people to leave me the hell alone about it. I am gonna go back to school in a year. I won't want to but I will because I have to.

by the time you complete 120 hours of classwork for a certain degree (read: trade) who has time for learning about other things that interest them? Especially when they are working.

That's fine, but once people get out of school and into the workforce, they NEVER want to come back to school. It's a fact.

I just get tired of people lecturing. Acting like I am an idiot. I know if I want to make lots of money I need to go to school. I also know I'd rather be happy than stuck in a life I hate making lots of money.

I don't think that has much to do with it other than denying the fact that you know you aren't doing what is right. I'll leave it alone, it is just my two cents.
