They’re still the Vancouver Grizzlies to me. Those jersey are classic as ugly as they may be.

Fair enough, oldhead.

What's funny is I agree with most posters on here about the current state of the NBA. It's too star-driven, too dainty, too focused on shooting threes and selling shoes than it is on beating the block down low and winning games with physicality.

But man, the grit-n-grind Grizz, rest in pieces, was some of the best basketball to watch over the last seven or so years, outside of San Antonio. What Z-bo and TA, plus Vince, did for this city over that timeframe was as close to the glory of national championships as I'm afraid Memphis will ever see...

...unless Penny works out.

And the teal/red are dope on a rope. Definitely classics.

It’s basically a tie you can’t argue that lol

“First, we went through the whole list of playoff opponents of Jordan and James. The combined regular-season record of MJ’s postseason rivals was 1,981-1,053. LeBron James’? 2,070-1,227

So yeah, MJ’s opponents did slightly better in the regular season on average than LeBron’s.”

Those stats are literally worthless.

Since we are on the subject of the GOAT, does anybody remember a game where MJ was sick, maybe had the flu, and put up like 50 something points? Or have I dreamed that?

Wish they’d go back to the old logo and colors tbh. I’m not old but did enjoy the grizzlies good years in Memphis. Thought they had cool jerseys as a kid when in Vancouver.

I’m a huge KD fan but whoever the hell it was said KD will be GOAT over Lebron and MJ is crazy. KD won’t ever be as good as Kobe

Lebron has been out of the GOAT conversation for years now. Its Jordan and nobody else is even close. Lebron isnt as good as Kobe was.

But LeBron's hairline comeback though.

(I don't have a dog in the fight. MJ's a-holishness rubs me the wrong way, just like seeing all 6'8" 250lb LBJ flop when someone accidentally slaps his shoulder)

For aforementioned reasons, the GOATs will always and forever be TA+Z-bo+Conley+Vince+Marc with a hint of Beno Udrih and Kosta Koufos. I like team sports better.e

Y’all still doing this?

Meanwhile Kongbo looks like a damn monster

Just bc guys give a mean look after a foul doesn’t mean it’s better defense. The whole tougher era is just romanticizing the past. Players now shoot better than they ever have before the game is more spaced out Bc of it thus being more offense oriented. Doesn’t mean iso or 1-1 defenders are lesser. It’s just like saying nfl defenses were better in the80s Bc they scored less. No it’s bc most QBs weren’t as good and offenses were more ball control and run oriented.

Shoot better because you don't see them getting in their grill. Shoot better than Larry Bird or Pistol Pete and we could go on and on.
