Seems like they must like what they see on DL to experiment those on OL. I could just be a dumbass though

That's how I looked at it. If they're willing to move some of those guys on the other side of the line maybe they feel decent about the d line.

Busts happen. Hopefully he isn’t one. The reason I’m not writing him off yet is he hasn’t played in the secondary since HS. I didn’t expect him to dominate in the spring learning a new (in college) position and a new scheme.

Looks like I nailed this one.....

Ok..so looked back to see what that was about, I had forgotten posting..4-8.
That was kind of sneaky Darth. I never predicted 4-8 as acceptable this year. That post was in response to one by Ron where he said 13 was a worse roster than this one..My response was last season's record...4-8.

I didn't say 4-8 was acceptable this season. Thanks for trying to make everybody believe I did.

Suuuuuure

Edit: if that really was your intention, then my bad.

The context of that conversation was setup by someone saying Pruitt deserved coach of the year if he got a bowl game this year, you agreeing with him, then posting that response to those who disagreed. I assumed that was your prediction for this season based on that context.

As it stands, it isn’t exactly clear what you meant with that post, I guess. The thought never crossed my mind (based on the context) that you were referring to 2017. It’s possible that is true :)

At what point do you own up to the shortcomings and accentuate the strengths?

I don't have any issues with what they did today. Leverage your resources and all...

It's spring, so this is the time to do stuff like this...

But it will get to the point, sounds like it may be sooner than later, that we'll just need to be bad azz at whatever it is we do well..

Is Kirkland hurt? Can't remember what his deal is. Have a feeling he might be one that won't gel with this staff.

This was posted back on 3-29:

"Working on the side, linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. made his first appearance at a spring practice thus far. The senior continues to recover from a minor knee procedure."
