(Saw one of these for NBA players, so thought i would have some fun)

You have 10$ to build an offense.

QB:
7$ Manning
4$ Dobbs
3$ Martin
2$ Bray
2$ C. Clausen

RB:
5$ J Lewis
4$ Henry
3$ Kamara
2$ Hardesty
1$ Riggs Jr

WR:
5$ Stallworth
4$ Meachem
3$ Hunter
2$ C Patterson
1$ Kelly Washington

TE:
4$ Witten
3$ Stocker
2$ Rivera
1$ Wolfe

Clausen, Kamara, Patterson, Wolf. $2 left, so I'd spend it on Hardesty.

It was tough not picking Lewis at RB. Lewis healthy and in his prime was unstoppable. There is not much difference in the TEs outside of Witten. Patterson was a no-brainer, IMO. He is the best college WR I've ever seen at UT. There are only a few in all of college football I might pick over him.

I really wanted Henry that dude was the toughest runner I may have ever seen.

Bray shouldn't even be on that list. Idc if his stats were good while he was here, he was a loser.

If everyone wants to talk about wasted talent under Butch, and play the “what if this player had played for a decent coach?” card, then you should be able to say the same about Bray. That guy had an absolute cannon and if a coach could have made him grow the hell up I think he would have been damn good. I feel like his arm alone has gotten him on an NFL roster. Just my opinion though...

How were his lines at Georgia?

His lines at UGA were ripping holes open so wide that Gurley looked like he was playing Tecmo Bowl. I haven't seen lines like that since Majors/Fulmer. Will Friend is hands down better than Pittman if you like old school lines that destroy DLs.

He has had this insane idea I'm Wes Rucker for years..it is an old joke to me and a few guys on here, it is why some guys on VN call me Ruck. He has also thinks Escape goat is Ryan Callahan...bless his little heart.🤪

I was wondering what Terry Fair is doing because it sounds like Pruitt is the DB coach..not Fair. I really wonder how that is going over with T-Fair?

This is just a guess.

There are some lengthy videos on youtube of Saban doing clinics for coaches while he was at MSU on how he teaches DBs. Jeremy coached DBs for Saban from 2010-12. I think the general sentiment is that Saban sort of coaches the DBs at Bama or at least is heavily involved. Terry's first real coaching job was as the CB coach at CSU. Last year he was paid $147,610. From what I can tell he's still just starting out, trying to gain experience and build a resume. He's earning $255,000 this year with us. We paid Willie Martinez $285,000 and Charlie Warren $450,000 but Warren also had Special Teams. This is a great opportunity for Terry to learn a particular style that is highly regarded, make a lot more money, check off another box on his career roadmap, and recognize that if Pruitt could learn from Saban he may be able to learn from Pruitt, assuming that's what he wants, and if he's ambitious enough to want to be a defensive coordinator one day soon and then maybe even a head coach. I'm just guessing but I figure Terry knew how things would be, especially early in his tenure on this staff, before he took the money. Just a guess.

This is what should be in the twitter thread instead of all the trash that's in there now.

What's trash about the thread?

This is the season of offers, unofficials, and evals. Things aren't going to get spicy until late summer thru NSD.

The only thing I don't like about that thread is that sometimes it isn't clear who the player is.

Its super dull. Pictures after visits and offers for guys we will never hear from again. We should keep the mystique of excitement in there.

Iceman, Lewis, CP flash, and Washington. Would rather have 2 receivers than Wolf at TE

Good point so I'm changing mine to
Clausen, Henry, Kamara, Washington. Kamara has to be on the team. Most under utilzed player in program history. Henry was a monster in the backfield. Clausen was a player and Washington could get the job done. I might have the brashest team out of everyones.

Yeah whoever keeps putting all those recruiting tweets in the recruiting twitter thread is really messing it up. TRASH!

It causes my OCD to flare up when a tweet gets posted there and in the player thread because I have to open both threads and see the same tweet. I don't like having any bolded threads. Probably another reason I don't like the FF. I can't keep up with the sheer volume of threads over there. Also why TonyB was particularly vexing to me. :eek:lol:

Im somewhat OCD about things as well. I typically check to see if a recruit has a thread, and if so I’ll only post the tweet there as opposed to the twitter thread. I’m sure I’ve posted in both before, but generally try not to.
