Recruiting Forum Football Talk LVII

The entire league is questioning the call. Rigged like WWE. We clinch the West last night and Florida would be eliminated. That call keeps multiple fan bases interested in Final games. Huge conspiracy

All of North America SHOULD be questioning that call. That's the worst call I've ever seen. Their goalie did not protest. The Panthers coaches did not protest. Some little shart in Toronto watching the game stopped it and said Goaltender Interference. I think they should only get to make the final decision if something is actually CALLED ON THE ICE. I'm STILL livid over this crap! :censored::censored::censored:

Is this a situation where he's a fullback, but we're just not calling him a fullback because that's not cool anymore?

I don’t know. Hype isn’t coming from coaches. All the media keeps labeling him “the best looking RB on the field”.

As with everything surrounding UT Football now...

I’ll wait to see for myself. Just Pru...ve it is my theme

If that is Fant in that pic then isn't this what we expected Pruitt to do? Alabama pounds you into submission with the likes of Derek Henry, and Scarbrough, and Richardson etc. Its what he's learned at Bama. Lets hope we can get to that level. I can guarantee guys wouldn't want to be tackling that late in the 4th quarter. Thats a big RB

The fact that it was reviewed and then called off is just flat out BS. Goalie never knew where the puck was after the initial save while Arvy barely touched the goalie and if he did it was because a defender was at his back pushing him in that direction. Just no evidence of goalie interference at all. League is going to have to make changes to that rule this offseason.

Dobbs, Kamara, Washington, Rivera.... and I’m very comfortable with my choices

I could be talked into trading up for CP, and settling for Wolf at TE.

I just think these comments from Pruitt may have something to do with comments from some of the media in the practice reports of JG taking on a more vocal leadership role and holding his teammates accountable and coaching them up. If so that is a very good sign IMO and hopefully some of the guys on defense can step into that leadership role and help spread this new Juice. haha

Tennessee Vols football: 'More juice' from offense again leaves Jeremy Pruitt pleased

"Again I thought today, the guys in the white shirts, I thought they responded after having two days off," Pruitt said. "They've done a good job of playing as a unit. They have a good competitiveness about them and overcome some adverse situations and really improved, I felt like, again today.

"I've got to watch the tape. Just the energy, I don't know if they were stepping in the right direction, putting their hat in the right spots, running the right routes, but if you used watched the practice, those guys looked like they were enjoying what they were doing.

"We've got to get everybody doing it and to where it's contagious."

"This is practice seven, so I've been pleased with the offenses more than two practices," he said. "Every day there's lots of positives. One thing that it takes in football, it takes all 11 guys. Sometimes, to me, in high school ball, college ball — I don't know, I've never coached in pro ball, but if you kind of want to, you can find a way, you can figure it out.

"To me, I felt like the last couple of practices, our offense, whether they're doing it right or not, OK, there's a little bit more juice on that side, you know. It's got a little contagious.

"It's good to see."

well, if there's 'want to', you have something to work with. everything else can be taught. they have to bring the 'want to' with them.

Dante Walker, Riverdale, Strong-Side Defensive End

"For me right now, it is kind of South Carolina and Tennessee, then everyone else on my list. They are my top schools right now. I will probably take a few more visits, then make a decision in the summer or somewhere around that time."

RIVALS REACTION: Walker is looking to take a visit Florida State in the near future to see what the new staff has to say. He grew up a fan of the Seminoles and his mother played basketball there. Right now, it is an SEC battle and it seems to be pretty tight between the Gamecocks and the Volunteers. Alabama and Georgia may not be on Walker as hard as they once were, but expect plenty of schools to be down to check him out this spring during the evaluation period.
