JG improving is good. Dumb fans saying he’s a bad QB are DUMB. Kid didn’t turn the ball over in a terrible offense. Has all the tools to run this system to the max. They are wanting Keller Chryst a second string QB at Stanford to take over. Smh Outside of Andrew Luck what good QB has come from there lately? Their RBs run that offense. QBs are game managers at the max.

Kevin Hogan has started nfl games....

Really enjoy listening to Pruitt's press conferences so far. Very refreshing to have a straight shooter up there talking and not a guy who spits out goofy cliches every other sentence.

I liked the part about how the guys on the side working with Coach Fitzgerald would probably rather be practicing. Lol. I can see Pruitt being like Coach Boone from Remember the Titans.

"We are going to do up downs until Blue is no longer tired and thirsty."

All I know is CJP is pushing all the right buttons. In the end for the WV game he will play the guys he believes will win the game. As he said, they are all freshmen out there now. Totally new system, new ways of doing things. Compete - best man wins the spot.

I'm just going to focus on how they are doing with recruiting until the season starts.

I definitely need to do the same re: your last sentence here, because I'm starting to get a taste of the kool-aid..

WVU fans are crapping themselves over their DT transferring out. They did just get a grad transfer in, but the guy has suffered two ACL tears over the years and doesn't figure to be a significant difference maker for them.

I'm really hesitant about our OL, for obvious reasons and just like everyone else. But my concern really lies with our health and durability down the stretch, especially during and after October.

Imagine if we upset WVU and our defense gets things figured out against Florida. Relative pipe dreams coming off last year, but a 4-0 (1-0) start.. aww hell.

Grier is a fine QB, but he is not elite and WVU is not loaded with talent. They lost 3 starting d-backs in addition to that DT, top WR and top RB.

They can't scout us and have no useful film. CJP is a defensive guru. I think Chandler and our WR's have a fun day. I'm calling it a W.

Based on CJP's comments today after practice there is reason for hope as it applies to the O-line.

I'm about to pull a Swanson and go 15-0. :) Right there with you on the kool-aid. In reality we know a bowl is likely and with some steady improvement and breaks the year could surprise with double digit wins.

Starting to think we have a pretty decent shot at taking West Virginia. Should be able to pound them on the ground. Grier does concern me but this defensive staff is elite. We'll see.

They will probably be top 25 too.

Let’s get Pruitt’s first win over a ranked team out of the way early.

Signature win??? Lol.

Yeah I've heard a couple national guys say they'll be a top 15 team. If they're so decimated on both sides of the line, I don't really see why. Chandler should have a big game.

If we beat West Virginia, we will start 4-0.

As negative as I've been..I do believe that if we can get by WVU, that it's a pretty good possibility we go 4-0.

If they were to start 4-0, I think how they respond to the toll of the murderers row after that is what will make or break the season. If they can come out of it reasonably healthy, and with a good fighting attitude instead of folding and quitting down the stretch...It actually could turn out to be a special year...maybe not so much record wise, but I just want to see them scrap and claw and fight...if they do that they will be special to me.

My favorite team is not the 98 team, it is the 85 Sugar Vols...That was the scrappiest bunch of Vols I've ever been blessed to watch.

I legit didn’t even know. It’s been so long. So I’m not gonna water it down when a school puts a very good college qb in the nfl and gets a chance to start multiple games for any time.

Matt Simms could’ve started for Cleveland. I wouldn’t classify Hogan any higher than Tyler Bray. It’s not “watering” anything down to point out that Stanford is NOT a quarterback factory. We ain’t either and Stanford isn’t...a QB factory

Having two NFL starters in a short span is impressive. Hogan was very good at Stanford. Tyler bray has been in the league for years and never even earned a true 2nd string roll. So yes i would clearly put hogan over both of them considering he started multiple games and actually played decent in a couple.

Hogan has STARTED a game in two seasons for two different franchises. To categorize him as a STARTER is dishonest at best. Put Tyler Bray on the Browns roster and he’d be in that same elite status.
