And a random question: Last spring game a walk on rb got hurt - Taelor Dowdy (I think was his name). Any word on how he recovered and if he's still trying to play? It looked like a bad knee injury at the time.

...and I was saying that the defense was not even close to a push. We have 4/5 star talent at basically every position on the team.

I enjoy your posts, so it's nothing personal. But the first year's under Dooley and Butch were the two worst rosters that I can remember. I am not old, but I have been paying attention for 30 years.

It’s not even debatable. Anyone who says this year’s roster is comparable to or worse then 2010 and 2013 simply wasn’t paying attention in those years. This year’s is weak relative to the top dogs in the SEC for sure, but it honestly is light years ahead of those. Light years.

JG improving is good. Dumb fans saying he’s a bad QB are DUMB. Kid didn’t turn the ball over in a terrible offense. Has all the tools to run this system to the max. They are wanting Keller Chryst a second string QB at Stanford to take over. Smh Outside of Andrew Luck what good QB has come from there lately? Their RBs run that offense. QBs are game managers at the max.

It’s just the irrational nonsense that because JG didn’t look like Peyton in a garbage offense, with no OL, while injured, that’s he’s terrible and will never improve and will most likely leave the program.

Oh, and because he was inconsistent in the first practice he’s terrible.

All I know is CJP is pushing all the right buttons. In the end for the WV game he will play the guys he believes will win the game. As he said, they are all freshmen out there now. Totally new system, new ways of doing things. Compete - best man wins the spot.

I'm just going to focus on how they are doing with recruiting until the season starts.

I apologize for getting on everyone's nerves. I am not trolling for a fight, I have just been speaking my honest take on a lot of our players. Letting freaking Vanderbilt and Kentucky abuse them like they didn't care one iota really stuck in my craw.

To Laager...of course I don't think every guy on the team was like that. But they were too few to make a difference.

I will try to desist from being overlylcritical.

Sorry for piling on. There were people who checked out last year. I think a lot of it was the culture and I believe CJP is going to fix that real quick.
