So all that came to a head AFTER they offered him a new contract? Just doesnt fly. Why would I put you on ignore? I would deprive myself of info from people who know people who heard of people who KNOW stuff! Pretty important connections. Its no state secret that Coach Majors was difficult. Even in an age where every rumor or innuendo didnt have an instantaneous outlet. Im simply stating that your knowledge is buried in the middle of a muck of you and yours personal biases and general dislike. There would be someone in your zipcode that would take a different slant...narrative...whatever terminology you want to splat on the wall. So did Johnny bonk Mrs. Lacewell? Since I asked for it?No PROBLEMS brother! Try not to sound so outraged when you SCHOOL me. Dont remember having a personal problem with you, but thats getting harder to keep track of lately. When I get the gist that the vast majority of this board hates me (as 76 recently stated), Ill gracefully exit stage right. I dont disagree for effect. I disagree when I dont accept someones elses FACTS as my own.
Loyola Chicago is just a really good basketball team. They really remind me of us actually.
11 seed was a severe under seed

Weve done this before. I dont think weve peaked yet. Im no different than I was when I was going on vacation every other week. Seems like theres a double standard when I disagree with a poster. I get labeled as Bruin or D4H. I dont find a topic and automatically take the opposing view and Ive never claimed any gift in sports knowledge. But I take my time and am pretty resolved in positions I state. And no one else calling me delusional or clueless ever affects that. 4Us could have stated he has personal experience with Majors and thats affected his opinion and I wouldnt have told him that he didnt. Throwing in a personal jab at me gets me feisty...its not necessary.
Just told my bro-in-law the exact same thing. We just happened to get a little unlucky drawing probably the most underrated and under-seeded team in the tourney. Stinks being put out so early, but doesnt sting as much if that team makes the Final 4.
Im just the opposite. It hurts me more knowing if Alexander could have played we had a great shot at the final 4. Not down on the team at all, just ready for some breaks to start going our way.
Former Georgia and Florida State tight ends coach*John Lilly*has joined new coach*Jeremy Pruitt's program and will be the executive assistant to the head coach
tennessee has hired a former sec assistant coach to its football staff. Former georgia and florida state tight ends coach john lilly has joined new coach jeremy pruitt's program and will be the executive assistant to the head coach, sources close to the situation told govols247 on saturday.
Lilly recently was considered for a position in alabama's program as well after spending the 2017 season out of football. The west virginia native spent 10 years (1998-2007) on bobby bowden's staff at florida state as the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator for the seminoles before he was hired by mark richt at georgia to coach tight ends for the bulldogs.
Lilly spent eight years in athens and spent two of them on the same staff with pruitt, who was georgia's defensive coordinator in 2014 and 2015.
He twice handled the play-calling duties for the bulldogs in bowl games. In 2014 georgia beat louisville 37-14 in the belk bowl with lilly calling the shots after offensive coordinator mike bobo took the colorado state job. The following year, after richt was dismissed in 2015, lilly helped the bulldogs beat penn state 24-17 in the taxslayer bowl.
After georgia moved on from richt and his staff, lilly spent the 2016 season in the nfl with the los angeles rams, where he worked alongside new tennessee running backs coach chris weinke, who coached quarterbacks for the rams.
His reputation as a strong recruiter is evidenced by his all-time commitment list, which is topped by four former five-star recruits, two at his most recent stops. At florida state, lilly was the primary recruiter for defensive back myron rolle and tight end brandon warren, an alcoa product who later transferred back to tennessee.
Lilly's list of georgia recruits is highlighted by wide receiver terry godwin, defensive end jordan jenkins, linebacker roquan smith, safety tray matthews and tight ends orson charles, jeb blazevich and arthur lynch.
butchna - I have not ignored you and I plan to keep it that way. Your posts get hard to follow at times and I don't understand you chasing and trashing posters who have different opinions and life experiences than you. Whatever, man, you be you and I'll be me. Accept what I post or not, I really don't care one way or the other. No more jabs, as if you have not been going at my posts for years, because there will be no more responses to your posts after this.
Wow. Charlie Anderson called wanting to know the list and Currie and Jubran wouldnt give it to him. These guys are cluleless. And they do not care about us at all
