#BoycottNRA

I can see Delta also being spiteful and moving parts of their operation. There is no way Amazon is going there.

Separate Bill?
Dude, seriously. It's $40 million dollars. It is literally $.50/ticket. Delta ain't moving anything. We have dealt with a stubborn government in ATL before and we will do so again. You are Jonesing for a fight that just ain't gonna happen.

Doesn't delta and other airlines park a lot of their planes overnight at smaller airports because its cheaper and the planes are staged for early morning flights to major hubs?

Not necessarily because it is cheaper, but you are correct on the staging aspect.

The ATL airport is way ahead in terms of design & technology and if Delta moves, they would be weapons grade stupid. It would be a new coke type blunder.
This is a great post. As much as some people hate flying thru ATL, it is THE BEST airport on planet earth for moving people and airplanes. The design of the parallel runways, and the parallel terminals that are spaced far enough apart to allow 2 airplanes to taxi abeam each other is unlike any other airport in the country. DEN is close, but handles nowhere near the volume of ATL.

And that is just what you see. DAL has been working with the ATL TRACON traffic control for years on ways to more efficiently handle traffic thru next generation arrivals and approaches. Some of that sets the standard for the rest of the country.

Mick's contention that we could move somewhere like MEM is literally roll on the floor laughable. Over $40 million.

Maybe Delta can placate these politicians by arming each of their stewardesses with AR15s? Slap a few NRA bumper stickers on Delta exec's Lexus and BMWs and voila, all is hunky dory.

It’s called freedom, look it up.

(I’m against background checks ftr)

Freedom eh? So, conversely, we don't have freedom because of a drivers education course, behind the wheel training, behind the wheel test, written examination and eye exam when getting a drivers license?

Those are limitations placed upon us by those who think they have the right to rule us.

I’ll ask you this, does anyone have a higher claim to your life than you?

Where in the BOR is the right to drive spelled out?

It's called education. It's required. Goes hand in hand with "rules". Serves the greater purpose of an organized and functioning society.

Do you ignore red lights when driving too, or do you succumb to the rules imposed by "the man"?

Are you going to answer the question?

It’s a waste of time. Don’t even bother engaging any of them anymore. They aren’t interested in discussion just preaching. So don’t give them a platform to preach.

Kinda like the guy with the megaphone on the street corner preaching we’re all going to burn in eternal fire and damnation while everybody ignores them and just walks on by.

It’s simply collectivism, run amok.

I didn't say I was for it. I said I could live with it. I had rifles/shotguns when I was 12. My parents gave them to me as birthday, Christmas gifts ECT. I wasn't allowed to touch them without my dad being present until I was older, like 16. I had a lot of adult supervision.

I had no supervision. Went 22 squirrel hunting at 11 with country kids my age. Went down to the hardware store and bought my own squirrel gun at 14. Most 'training' I ever had was being told to keep it unloaded and pointed into the ground when walking along. Keep it pointed into the air with the safety on when hunting squirrel. Only take the safety off once I had it pointed towards where they were. And by god never, ever, for any reason point it at anybody and if dad heard I'd done that it'd get broke over a fencepost and as long as I lived under his roof I'd never hunt again.
