Youre not going to get someone you intend to charge with murdering federal cops to surrender in Texas. The adult men there knew theyd likely face the death penalty.

Koresh should have sent the kids out.

They didn't kill anyone until they were attacked.

The FBI never admitted if they fired first or not.

Once those agents died, the men in that building were doomed.

They shouldn't have done the raid.

Speeding in school zones puts other people in danger. Me owning an AR-15 doesn't.

That sounds like an opinion. How about people who feel a safe speed limit would be 30 mph in school zone. Did someone else have the right to define what was safe and then make that individual adhere to that law even though they did not agree that it was necessary?

You have to be a really clever lawyer to argue using the 5th Amendment to circumvent the 2nd Amendment.

Again, never litigated in this area, but there's a fair amount of case law, per the article, saying that making certain weapons illegal which had been previously legal, is not a taking, even if those weapons have to be destroyed. So takings clause isn't even in play it sounds like.

You don’t have a right to drive

Then what will be the consequences?

Ever hear of civil disobedience?

This would be massive.

Our courts and prisons couldn't handle it, if any arrests/prosecutions were made.

The Aussies are a rough and tumble lot. Yet it worked for them. For the umpteenth time, you don't need your assault weapon, bump stocks and large magazines.

Speed limits are not determined by feelings. There is actual science and statistics (debatable science) behind speed limits. Feelings should NEVER be taken into account when passing law.

He knowingly and willfully held them as a shield. The deaths lie solely on Koresh.

Need has nothing to do with it. Since when has "need" been the arbiter of anything?

Millions more Americans than Australians own semi-automatic firearms. Try taking them from them and see what a mess looks like.

The civil disobedience will overwhelm the system.

My point.

I'd forgotten how close Clinton was to losing his grip on america back then until recently.

Mcveigh single handedly destroyed all the momentum and sentiment that he thought he was a part of

Plus. Well. He was wrong in his conclusion.

Man I need to get some work done.
