#BoycottNRA

Thanks, that was much easier.

I think you are wrong. The graduation rate is higher than it has ever been. (male and female)

There are problems within the education system but it is not a broken system. It may be the very thing holding together a broken society.

Because we now give diplomas away. But just handing a kid an unearned diploma doesn’t help with anything.

It’s 100% broken and the root of the problem. We have a one size fits all education system that attempts to shove square pegs through round holes. If they don’t like and aren’t happy, we won’t let them drop out (because we are no graded by graduation rates). So they get put on court orders forcing them to go to high school until they graduate or turn 21. We convince them they’ll be unsuccessful in life because they are unsuccessful in an academic environment that in no way models the real world.

Then after forcing them to go to a school they don’t want to attend, and convincing them that they’re not going to accomplish anything with their life, we pretend to be shocked when they see infamy as their best choice

It eventually worked with tobacco --but I sadly agree about the guns. If more and more dead children don't move people to open their mind and hearts, then no, it won't end well.

Unfortunately, our nation has lost it's innocence, and we can never go backwards, no matter how much we all wish it.

The only real solution is to look at other countries and see what they do that successfully curbs the gun violence. If not, it will be just more carnage.

Y’all support abortion so don’t act like you give a **** about dead children.

I don't think it is that simple. Otherwise any kid on any kind of prescribed drug would be shooting up everything in sight.

So you’re not claiming it’s only causation if 100% of kids do it?

Does that mean guns are only the cause if 100% of gun owners kill someone?

Those are all great laws and obviously still not sufficient.

That why the loophole should be closed and I would cap the number of guns that could be purchased in a given time frame.

I'm pretty sure the NRA insured that the loopholes were embedded in the laws in order to maximize total gun sales. Which is their only objective.

Why does it matter how many guns someone buys? Are you afraid they’ll grow extra arms and shoot them all at once?

Who said I support abortion?

Since Republicans have Senate, House and presidency, maybe they should look into fixing that, but also have to help mom after the fact, and we all know you guys think poor people are moochers.

Not all.

This is literally the safest time to be alive.

I've never said it was a 100% cause one way or the other. It is many factors, as I said countless times in the mass shooting thread.

I'm also the only liberal on here agreeing with you gun dudes that ban/confiscation is not the answer.

The comanches and a few others did develop a pathological hatred for us, but it was too little too late.

Down South, the aztecs were so bad that the surrounding tribes helped cortez kill them.

Funny how different things couldve been.
