Mass shooting of the week, high school in parkland, FL.

It would depend on how much gerrymandering took place.
States that have a large repub. majority in the state house often times have more dem. voters statewide.

They let a Dem. win his district 80% to 20% and created three adjoining districts that the repubs. carry 52% to 48%. Repubs have a 3 to 1 ratio over the dems in the state legislature even though there were more dem. votes cast in those 4 districts. ]

There way of manipulating the majority vote....because we all know how the majority votes.....increasingly so.

You got me. Only gun toting nut jobs do gerrymandering.

Great logic argument.

To nonsensical to warrant a response.

meaning you can't argue the statistic that despite the rate of gun ownership in this country we have a lower murder rate than the average of the world. along the lines of most 1st world nations without guns. and that we also have a lower rate of assault/robbery and other crimes.

actually looking at the list on homicide rates is interesting as it doesn't just boil down to wealth, freedom, lack of guns, etc.

My stockpile right now is one ammo type. I had started buying some other types but same manufacturer, Federal. it aint cheap but I aint at the range every day.

I am used to GVs ribbing. I got the gun I was looking for, FAL, for what I was wanting to do, kill people. I mean shoot at the range and kill trees, yeah, lets go with the second thing.

I can honestly barely keep my blood lust in check now that I have it whispering in my ear every night.

I just give you **** because you turned down an exceptional platform like an AR-10 that's not so picky on ammo.

Yeah, cause those hippies didn't change anything.

Rosa Parks didn't change anything.

Freedom Riders didn't change anything.

Samuel Adams didn't change anything.

Change is almost always brought on by a hissy fit.

The hippies didn’t change much. I wouldn’t classify your other examples as throwing a hissy fit either. They all had legitimate causes and risked life and or liberty for them. These kids are simply pitching an emotional hissy fit.

That intense gerrymandering would surely explain why there are only 18 Democrat Governors.

A large portion of the population at the time saw their protest as a hissy fit without purpose.

Personally, I am glad to see kids taking an interest in the process. Whether I agree with them or not is not relevant. Taking a stand is worthy on its own.

Maybe the kids have a solution since it's one of their own crazies doing the killing. It's not like a lot of adult NRA members are going in opening up on the school kids.

The difference is in all but one of your examples those people were fighting for liberty and rights, these kids are doing the exact opposite.

Really? I believe their point is that it is very difficult to have liberty and rights when you're f@cking dead.

Then they should be protesting for the right to defend themselves. Free societies come with risks, the only person responsible for your safety is you.
