Mass shooting of the week, high school in parkland, FL.

Honestly, these kids down here are pissed off something fierce. I don't think trump is going to placate them by tossing out the sacrificial bump stock lamb.

A large majority of those kids are just like luther, too, only 40 years younger.

Ignorance and emotion lend no credence to their voices.

Uh oh, kids are pissed. Let's set national policy or strip people of their rights because kids are pissed.

If Trump is a terrible president because he has no experience, why should policy be dictated by kids with no experience?

Sensational headlines, so what are the totals? Bloomberg vs. NRA?

Hell, they can’t even vote. Remove the ignorance, inexperience, and even downright stupidity, these kids have no legal voice (talking about voting, nutbags) in this country!

If the strength of your argument relies on the identity of the messenger, then maybe it's not that strong of an idea.

Underestimating your opponent is a fools errand.

These kids are the future, things are changing - mock them at your own peril.

I'm beginning to think Luther might be on to something in regards raising the age to buy any gun to 21. But lets also raise the voting age to coincide.

Policy will not be dictated by these kids; however, policy "may" be dictated by the groundswell started by these kids.

The views of half or more of these kids will change by the time they are 30 and can exert any influence. So I'm not worried.

You missed the entire point of my post. I'm not mocking them. I'm mocking people who demand we take their ideas seriously simply because of who they are. Just more identity politics from the left.

I'm thinking in more of the 8 month range. Maybe it amounts to nothing. We'll soon see.

Simple yes or no will suffice.

Is the outlawing of bump stocks stripping people of their rights?

Technically yes, but most "reasonable" people don't have a problem if they go away. See how that works Loo.

Edit: But if we the people could vote on every single law or regulation introduced. I would vote against banning them.

He does like playing the devil's advocate any time he can

A good debater can debate either side. It’s about the topic and talking points. A good debater can win with a bad talking stance against a bad debater

But I’m not gonna call Septic a good debater just because he likes to play Devils Advocate. 😬
