What flaw? I said talk as much as you want. But Im saying policy decisions based on emotional arguments is a bad idea. That was my intent anyway. You disagreeing with that?

What I'm saying is that if one wants to wait for emotion to wain after a mass shooting even so that no outrage is involved - then the talk will never happen.
I'm sure that some would accuse the left of exploiting the Sandyhook kids by invoking them still today.
It's never going to be a good time to have this conversation, we now live in a time where the outrage and sorrow is bracketed by shooting events.
