Yup, that second cut will do it.

Good for him, glad he made his own personal choice and feels better about it. But a guy with a pre ban AR and a 2A tattoo has more than 1 firearm. I want to see him cut them all up.

If that is the same gun in the video and he followed up with another cut then he did disable it. If that isn’t the same gun all he did was ruin a barrel, forestock, and gas tube I believe.

GV, I would like to further debate our ideas on purchases. I think I have a good idea. Would like your honest shots to put holes in it. Basis is that other than the medical history which I think has to be in future discussions, what isn't already available to Feds?

So a ROF of 24 rounds a minute? Most any semi auto repeating rifle can easily exceed that Luther.

A fully auto M16/AR-15 I believe is capable of around 650-700 rpm. Going semi auto I read somewhere Bushmaster puts their ROF at around 45 rpm. Which is an equivalent trigger pull of about 1.5 seconds per pull just spraying and praying which is really all you are discussing, ROF. That is slow. Any semi auto repeater should be capable of a trigger pull less than once per second. Even with mag changes the effective trigger rate isn’t going to plummet.

THIS is a big reason we’re laughing at you. You are fixated on a meaningless stat.

Because at 12 and 30 you’re still letting me kill 24 people per minute. And killing more than 1 is unacceptable. Thus take the gun out of the shooters hands. If you were actually serious about control and not focused on bans you would know that. But all you are focused on is bans. And the basic numbers I’ve posited here is why I will never agree to banning any type of weapon that meets the requirements of title I/GCA.

(Further stealth edit to try and clean up class, type, etc... as I always butcher this stuff)

I don't understand why insurance companies put up with this. If I were selling insurance, I would have a clause in there that your policy is null and void if it is proven that cell phones were in use at the time of the accident and you are at fault.

Same thing with smoking and health insurance.

So more access points into the school but harder to get into an actual classroom? My only concern would be changing classes, lunch time, etc when students aren’t in classrooms but, like most suggestions, there are gonna be some flaws.

i am thinking opposite of a fire alarm. Something goes down school can be compartmentalized. if your compartment is threatened there are still ways out. otherwise those doors just stay open during usual hours.

imo any "defense" we have to keep them out can get bypassed pretty easy. but something that only happens when the cord is pulled is much harder to predict, get around. for the record I am not familiar with any such system or building with it but it seems straight forward enough.

I think this could be a good idea on campuses where there are multiple buildings like you pointed out earlier. If there’s a situation in one building, lock the other ones down. That works for me.

Now maybe be able to lock down the classrooms so no one can get in during the situation and we might have something there.

Just would hope it wasn’t between classes or during lunch, but I would be okay with this.

there is no way to only temporarily hold that information. It will be kept, or it will be able to be dug up.
