LOL I do.![]()
Many Shabbos I have to work, But Sunday, the Lords day I go to church.
Saturday night which belongs to the following day or perhaps early Sunday morning. In Corinthians they met on the first day of the week. Also, I believe that every day is a good day for church! I am not at all against meeting on Saturday. While I dont think it matters which day you go to church. Saturday is given as a day of rest. A gift. If people choose no to take it, thats their choice. But.....
Why would you think the lords day is Sunday?
Youve already stated youre in agreement that messiah rose on Saturday.

And how does Messiah respond to them.
By reminding them or what is written in scripture and reminding them its not Blasphemy to claim to be the Son of G-d/ Messiah if he is the Son of God/Messiah.
The context before and after the attempted stoning is Messiah not YHWH.
Edit. The same word is used for God threw out that vs. translators decide when to use the G or g depending on their beliefs

compare,
Here is how it's written, in the KJV: "The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God."
They claimed blasphemy, because they understood Jesus was claiming himself to be God (yes, God who Abraham, Isaac and Jacob followed).
Greek transliteration: Theon
Matt 5:8: "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." (Theon).
First off, I can't deal with 20,000 subjects at a time.
On this issue, let's be clear, that I'm only addressing with how you transcribed / posted John 10:33 (and you used a lower case 'g' -- no official translation uses a lower case 'g' in John 10:33 / EVERY official Biblical translation transcribes with upper case "G" / as does KJV from which I quoted: "because that thou, being a man, makest thyself 'God'").
Here's another translation example, from Aramaic Bible in Plain English (copy/pasted and seen here, in plain English, we see an upper case "G"):
"The Judeans were saying to him, It is not for excellent works that we are stoning you, but because you blaspheme, and as you are a man, you make yourself God."
Again, we see clearly, that THOSE Jews -- in His midst/ witnessing personally what He was claiming -- claimed that He claimed "you make yourself God" (and then, the following verses show, as context, that the "Father sanctified" him, him being "the Son of God" -- he is attempting to convince them / to have them see/understand, that yes/indeed, what THEY just claimed that he was claiming, is correct).
Some have argued that the first day reference in 1 cor 16 is about payday at the time and not about church meetings. I am currently without opinion on this vs. just giving the opposing view point.
In acts 20.
And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
Youve already stipulated that the evening starts the day so if they got together on the first day to break bread and Paul taught till midnight would that be Saturday night as theres only one midnight per day?
Again not questioning when anyone churches. Learning about G-d is always good regardless of the day. Just trying to understand the lords day thinking.
If Messiah had to be off the cross before sundown because the high sabbath was about to begin then that puts his resurrection before sundown on Saturday does it not? 3 full days
The lower case g is an example of how Jews could have understood it.
(And yall give me crap for using a - instead of o to avoid confusion lol)
Edit: I went back and reread it. I believe I was clear in context that I was making an example of how the Jews could have understood it.
There was no attempt to deceive.
I agree
They asked if he was Messiah and Yeshua said yes.
Which is Blasphemy if he was not.
Ok, fair enough. I too went back and reread it. Here's what you (in all honestly) wrote:
"the Jews gathered around ask if Hes the Messiah
He gives an answer
They pick up rocks
Messiah asks why
They say you claim to be Messiah/ a god
Messiah answers their claim in the context of the accusations they are making.
Yet the choice of a G by someone over the last 2000 years has many people believing Yeshua is actually YHWH."
I realize you wrote that in sincerity, however
every modern translation uses "G" (while you type: "They say you claim to be Messiah/ a god").
Rather, they were saying that he claimed to be God ("you make yourself God").
A "god" (any of the many) is in the context of what Paul was addressing in Acts 17:23.
To look at it another way, see Elijah's dealings with the prophets of Baal --
"Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, "Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire"" (NIV).
Elijah called upon God (of Adam and Eve; God, of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob / God, creator of the universe), and those other prophets called upon baal/Baal (their god, whom they worshipped).
Yes. I clearly pizzed him off. I thought we were having a good discussion then he went IG. Ive learned that when people get pizzy the chances of me benefiting from it are over so I bail.
At the end of the day its all about me.
I apparently cant converse with everyone the way I do with you.
When you are judged how many beings do you believe will be there? Will it be as revelations pictures it with G-d on the throne and Messiah Yeshua/Jesus at his right hand or one throne with one being G-d/Jesus/Yeshua on it?
Im asking your opinion of what you expect.
