I wouldn't be surprised if Niedermeyer is the WR coach and Propst coaches TE's.

I know there has been discussion about Probst before (mostly about his personal life), but what qualifications does he have for either position? Is this a hire simply for recruiting purposes, or is he expected to be stellar at the on-the-field position?

On January 30, 2008, Propst was named head coach at Colquitt County High School.[9] When Les Koenning left the University of South Alabama in January 2009, head coach Joey Jones interviewed Propst to fill the vacant position as the offensive coordinator.[10] After community uproar over the interview, Propst decided to stay at Colquitt County.

Propst could be a really good hire. Really accomplished and well known high school coach with connections all over the south. He's absolutely a winner. Saban would have likely hired him years ago without the scandal. Pruitt should know him better than anybody. If he signs off on it I am all aboard.

Since McClendon might be out I am hoping we hire Propst to fill the last spot. It would be a damn good hire, imo.

I appears we have a lot of the recruiting bases covered, geographically, but who do we have with experience recruiting in the Carolina's and Virginia now?

Buffalo Wild Wings honey BBQ will always be the GOAT Wings imo.

BWW is overrated, and any sweet BBQ is a no go. I like my wing sauce like I like my women, HOT.

South Carolina has announced a press conference tomorrow at 10:30 am, likely to introduce Bryan McClendon as their new OC. He probably told Pruitt he wasn't coming and that's why Propst is in town.

To learn under the master of course

Washington State is in the red due to their large contract with Leach and there is a lot of concern throughout the administration. He is leaving a listing ship for very solid footing at Ohio St. I'M sure having a cup of coffee at Ohio St will prop up his resume as well.

Yep, I think we'll lose some and it could end up being addition by subtraction. Players and former players have said some were half-assing it last year. Doubt Pruitt will have much tolerance for that.

He won't put up with it at all. When he got to UGA he got rid of those folks really quick that weren't ready to practice andnplay to his expectations. Several of those UGA secodnary players were shown the door like Shaw Wiggins

Propst revolutionized offense in Alabama. He could handle receivers.

I would rather have a proven WR coach. Our WR have lacked coaching for so long that IMO we should not be experimenting by bringing a HS coach to coach wide receivers. If he was coming for Special teams I could understand the hire.

BTW, I do appreciate that you can actually spell his name correctly.
