D4H's 2017 NFL Draft Review (Best Picks, Best Drafts, and Predictions)

Stop saying that. I said he would be a Hall of Famer with a game most similar to Marshall Faulk. Nobody else was saying that.

Its easy to say someone will be good. Its another to say he'll be a Hall of Famer and then in year 1 have the guy put up HISTORIC numbers.

I was the ONLY person who saw the level of success Alvin is having right now. The only one.
No, it's ridiculous to say that before a guy is even drafted. That's why anyone with a resemblance of a clue would never make such a claim. Also, just to make sure we are all still paying attention, he isn't a HOFer yet and he isn't on the level as Marshall Faulk yet either, so may want to pump your brakes a bit.

You're the only one saying he will be a Hall of Famer as early as you have because that's an act of pure lunacy .. but MANY MANY MANY people felt he would be a great pro. But RBs take such a beating that it's just an immature prediction to pick a HoF career at the start of their rookie year. I don't care about his numbers at this point. One year of great numbers doth not make a HoFer. So I will keep saying what I said because it's a fact. Plus, what happens when he suddenly has to be the bell cow and carry it 20+ a game? Hard to say, he hasn't ever had to do that. But HoF players do.

You’d think kamara ran for 2000 yds already lol

His ypc is very good but he has 600 rush yds I mean come on

And yes I know he has another 600 rec but still the way you talk it’s a bit much

His Yards Per Carry is the highest in NFL history for a RB. That's not just good. Its all-time great.

And is yards per touch running and receiving are the highest in NFL history.

Alvin may not be putting up raw totals that are historic. But his efficiency per touch are historic.

You never answered my question

Lol. Kamara is having a very good season. But how is his season not luck? I mean Bosa has put up historic type numbers. So whats the difference?

You do know 70% of all sacks are coverage sacks?

No. But from watching tape even the "coverage sacks" aren't impressive. Most of Bosa's snaps are usually against the right tackle. That is less impressive than hearing the left tackle for sacks since left tackles are typically the better pass blockers.

You should know by now I don't care about numbers. I just watch the games and judge players by what I see on the field not what I see afterwards on the stat sheet.

Get a new eye test.

Probably because that’s a great point you made about him always splitting carries and never having to carry the load

My guess is 20+ carries a game for 16 games a yr would end his career way too early to ever have a chance at the hall of fame

And you probably would have to be able to do that if you want to make it there

Only recent hall of fame RBs I can think of are Adrian Peterson and Ladanian Tomlinson. Kamara has a hell of a long ways to go to get anywhere near them

This.

Kamara is having a great rookie year, but his YPC is inflated by the small amount of touches he actually gets. As it stands, he's averaging less than 47 YPG, with less than 7 attempts/game.

Marshall Faulk, whom D4H is hell-bent on comparing Kamara to after less than a season of play, averaged almost 70 YPG and 16 attempts/game over his entire 12 year career.

But yet you keep harping on Kamara's ypc. You know, those are numbers. Numbers only matter when it fits your narrative.

And don't let D4H know...but this Hunt guy for KC is still pretty good.

Never said he wasn't good. He's just not great like Alvin. Or as great as James Conner will be next year. Or as great as Joe Mixon will be once he gets some blocking.

If given a mulligan I would rank Kareem Hunt ahead of Christian McCaffrey (who looks like a bust). But he's not better than my top 3 RBs in this class.

Did you watch the Chiefs/Chargers game last night?

Joey Bosa was a ghost. Zero impact on the game.

He's simply never impressed me. If he were actually good I would admit I made a mistake like I did with Dak Prescott.

I wasn’t crazy about Fournette but he’s having a pretty good rookie year in Jax. He’s definitely having a big impact taking some of the load off Bortles

But that defense is really frickin good

1st in scoring defense
1st in sacks
1st in pass touchdowns
1st in qbr

Basically 1st in everything important lol

Jalen Ramsey has turned out to be an absolute stud that’s the best corner in the league or close to it Sutton got a long way to go to get on his level

Lol one ****ing game are you serious? This is why your a joke you get a tiny sample size of his career so far and come back here with this “see I’m right” bull****

He won def rookie of the year after missing the first 4 weeks!!!

He basically averages a sack a game and he’s helped make the other defensive end Melvin Ingram a **** ton better since he got there a long with the corner Hayward and the rest of that defense. He’s having an undeniable positive effect on that defense and he’s only in his second year

Chargers have one of the best pass rush in the league since he showed up but hey that’s all just luck right haha

Joey Bosa plays mostly against the less athletic right tackles while Melvin Ingram takes on the better pass protecting left tackles. If anyone is making someone better it's Melvin Ingram making Bosa better by going against the better pass protecter every game so Joey Bosa can get the weaker matchup.

This is why I watch the games. I just don't make my opinions based on stats or hype.

You’ve watched 1 game they’ve played this year. The rest were highlights
