Just give it time. By this time next year Cam Sutton will be recognized as one of the best corners in football.
Like by the end of this season Josh Dobbs will be starting for them and leading them to a super bowl?
This time next year this will not be the case and at that time you will defect and move the goalposts again.
This time last year I said Alvin Kamara was the best RB in the 2017 draft and a Marshall Faulk type player.
What were you saying then?
Just wait. I was proven right by Alvin this year. And I'll be proven right by Cam Sutton next year.
I was saying that to call Alvin Kamara the next Marshall Faulk was seriously premature.....and it still is. I loved Kamara then and I love Kamara now, but he has a bit to prove to be on Marshall's level. This is what you do though, you make crazy claims about players and make multiple, upon multiple ones so you are bound to sound somewhat correct on one or two of them. The other 99% of ridiculous **** you say, you deflect and babble some other BS. You are completely entitled to your opinion, but own those.....even the ones (vast majority) that are complete proven wrong.
And I can confidently say that Cam Sutton will not be considered one of the best corners in the NFL this time next year. You can quote me on that. You think he will even start? He may make the nickel position, but that's not even a given that he will break in the starting rotation. The guy has played 2 games this year, because of injury and they had no choice, and you acting like he is in the running for MVP.
The same was true of Alvin Kamara here last year. He only started against Texas A&M because Hurd was out. Same was true for Tom Brady when he got his shot in the NFL.
Sometimes even the best players ever only get their shot because of injury. Coaches aren't really as smart as we make them out to be.
You are taking something that rarely happens and applying it as the norm, because it fits your narrative. I will completely be ok with being wrong about Sutton, but he isn't going to jump over Joe Haden or Artie Burns.
Artie Burns is a scrub. Cam will play over him once Haden is healthy.
Now this assumes Tomlin is not a moron. But I have a feeling he might be. So look for the same situation that got Sutton on the field now ahead of Coty Sensabaugh to happen again. Artie Burns will most likely get burned over and over again in a important game. Tomlin will put in Sutton for a few series. Cam will play lights out and take Artie Burns job.
Cam Sutton is a future star in the NFL. You best believe it.
You're an idiot lol.Artie Burns is a scrub. Cam will play over him once Haden is healthy.

D4H, maybe I have missed this in a post somewhere, but what exactly do you see in Cam Sutton? I totally get Kamara and even Dobbs, but what pops out to you about Sutton?

Cam is not physically gifted like Kamara and Dobbs but mentally he's as good as it gets. He's got elite instincts and an elite work ethic. He's as smart as any football player as well. Its that combination that will make him an elite corner for many years.
Cam is an zone cover corner with elite instincts. He'll play for a very very long time. That is what will make him a great player. Longevity. Think Frank Gore. He's never really been on the level of Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch in his prime but consistency for a long time will have him in the top 5 rushing all-time.
Cam Sutton will be a consistent 12 year pro who makes several pro bowls by just being steady and solid because of his elite work ethic and insticts.
Two years ago you were touting Kelvin Taylor and Kevin Hogan. But you'll say those two years don't count.
