Heard there could be a Christmas miracle...someone changed their Christmas list last minute.....will the elves be able to make the toys in time. Or will Santa just move on? 🤔

I have heard everything imaginable at this point. It is definitely more fun to think what if than to wallow in misery. If not then I will adjust as I see fit.

So let me see if I have the grumorz straight.

Pruitt wants to hand pick his staff (no Tee) or coach the playoffs. For UT both are deal breakers. Tee = come together, HC = stabilize, HC+staff= championship.

Theory 1:
So Gruden has second thoughts and calls Phil, Phil and Bev breakoff talks in NYC and go to meet Gruden with his amended requests. Sexton leaves NYC (per Tony Basilio twitter).

Alternate theory: Gruden has been in the whole time and Phil is interviewing DC's

I'm going with theory 1. Tee is the most important hire for Phil, (Les will work if Gruden is no), VFL and fans want Tee. Phil wants Tee. Tee only comes for a proven HC like Les or Gruden

don't forget about theory 3: fulmer keeps stringing along Pruitt and Steele because he's confused by Gruden's only response during all of their meetings, "never say never to nothin'"

UPDATE: UT will allow Pruitt to coach Alabama's defense in the playoff under the condition that he wears an "I'm with stupid" t-shirt and stands next to Saban the entire game.
