Eff’n right!!! It wouldn’t be for Pruitt’s staff. I I were a AHC, I wouldn’t want to join another AHC’s staff. That’s my direct competition (even if he’s a defensive guy and I’m an offensive guy). However, if it were an already proven coach, then I’d definitely consider.

This may be a rumor so I hate to even mention it, goes back over a month. Buddy of mine who is in the 100k donor level (which really isn’t a ton) had heard weeks ago he wanted his first game to be in Knoxville. So a possible buyout of opener might be needed. Again, don’t shoot the msg’r cause it could or could not be true. But have heard gruden is kind of a diva so it could be something nuts like that.

That would be an absolutely ridiculous demand. You play the schedule and should bring the attitude that “we will go anywhere and play anybody” mentality.

Did Gruden turn down the Super Bowl because it wasn’t played at home? No. I doubt he is playing that card now. This has to be BS.

I really want to think this is Gruden and they decided on Pruitt as DC. No way Saban would realistically think if Pruitt was taking the HC position he wouldn't leave immediately once the deal was done. If he was leaving for the DC position I could see Saban expecting him to remain until after the playoffs. They are stalling for some reason.
