It's not that they fear this thread, they simply pay very little attention to this thread.

Unfortunately/fortunately (depending on your POV) the people in this thread are the only ones paying much attention to it..

I didn’t realize I couldn’t express my opinion as well. I’ve been in here since the beginning, as was the case in 2012 on a different screen name. So no one is allowed to argue for a certain candidate other than Gruden in here? That’s new if so.

I only follow our coaching searches, so help me here. Is it normal to hold 2-3 rounds of interviews for multiple candidates over the course of a week during a hire? I don’t remember this last time.

If that is the case then simply ignore us, why come in here to tell us to calm down like children being disruptive to the adult plans ?

It's not the expressing of your opinion. It's the way you go about the expressing of your opinion. I was here in '12 also.

I agree to all of this, however, there hasnt been anything reported from the university regarding Gruden. This has all been done by boosters and "certain group of fans" if it even has. There is no substantial evidence that says it has, just pure speculation and pieces being put together. With that in mind, what is there for the university to come out and squash if there is nothing concrete from their side that this is even in play?

Ive been on the Gruden train since 2012 but there isnt anything from the university that says we have ever offered. Would they not want us to know they tried their best to land the great white whale if that was the case to appease the fan base?

Why in God's green Earth would you WANT to come in to the Official Jon Gruden page and argue about a different coach.....???? You are most defiantly looking to start an argument by doing so. You do realize we are all VOLS, don't you? I guarantee you that us regulars were in here and not in the Mullen threads trying to argue with those people who supported him. You are just arguing for the simple fact of arguing....

It does seem a tad excessive, based on the information that normally comes out during coaching searches. Maybe they're trying to do their due diligence about something, or maybe they had an initial meeting with somebody else in the department and the second meeting was to meet with Fulmer? I don't know.

I didn’t realize I was expressing it the wrong way. If I’ve offended you, I apologize. I am not outside of this thread talking crap about anyone in other threads. I was here all aboard the Gruden train, and have come to believe that ship has sailed and am continuing in this thread as I have from the start.

I've got him on ignore but he's either deluded, troll and thinks he can change something aggressively pushing an agenda. FH
