A. Finish season with bama to see if he can get a NC.
B. Quit bama and hit the recruiting trail hard.
C. Finish season with bama and then come work as DC for Gruden because 100% Gruden *****es. It is till it aint!

Why would someone come in here and tell us to calm down? We are simply fans who want a decent head coach and believe that Gruden is our number one choice... do they fear this thread that much?

I'm not seeing a whole lot of evidence that this is true, is the problem. I'm not thinking that seeing Gruden say "I'm not interested, go away" to a camera is going to make a whole bunch of people suddenly be OK with Jeremy Pruitt. They'll just start demanding that Chris Petersen say no to a camera, or Les Miles, or Jeff Brohm, etc.

This is my feeling too. Maybe not specifically about Les because I don't know. But just the running with stories. My goodness, the bemoaning that we were assuredly hiring Steele yesterday or the day before and the rhetoric that went along with it. And now it's Pruitt. Follow the source.
Another example: some headline says Gruden is interested in the NY Giants job. Follow the source. It was an off cuff joking comment on MNF and should not, at this time, be taken seriously at all.

Especially since Gruden is of course coming back to UT.

Pretty strong endorsement. My question to those who don’t like this potential hire, is who would you rather have that isn’t named Gruden and is a realistic option?

Why are you even here trying to tell people who to want as head coach and who not to want? These are grown ass people in here, myself included, and we are very capable of forming our own opinion. Good Lord man it's called an opinion for a f'ing reason. If you don't agree with it, say so once and move the f on. You come across as a very controlling and spoiled dbag.

Most of the posters in here will support the new coach whether is Gruden or not. One thing is for sure though. It's not going to be because you were in here coming across like a tyrant.
