Lincoln Riley: True first year coach success (anyone heard of Baker Mayfield)?

Kirby Smart: Success in second year. Spent 7 years at Alabama as DC. Not bouncing around from school to school. He is the only one out of this bunch that I would consider having real success as a first time HC.

Kirby inherited a great situation at Georgia. The team before he got there went 9-3.

And there's the problem. Too much ambiguity in his pictures. You interpret it one way, others see it differently. To me, buttoning up a suit, a dark suit and tie, can just as easily be interpreted as "getting ready for the funeral."

There is a simple reason these pictures are being put out like that. Because people see what they want to see.

There was one national report that came out right before the Schiano thing hit, and that was it. Nothing else. So when you say, "He has to at least publicly shoot it down. There's too much smoke..." and so forth, there's really not, and hasn't been since the Schiano thing, which consumed everything else for a week.

The only people on the planet who think Gruden owes us an explanation for not coming are all in this thread.

If so, then no one should be concerned about the fallout from a Pruitt hire. (But that's not the case)

I assure you I'm living w it. I was at UT during Manning era. And I'm at a loss why I pursuaded my daughter to go there. I hope this nightmare ends soon.

Screw it....if it’s Pruitt just rip the band off and announce it. No reason for this BS

Our 3 choices are Steele, Tucker and Pruitt, who cares, just close your eyes, throw a dart and we have our new coach.

Sorry, little frustrated.

Thanks I did not know that...so then why is everyone so down today? Is those things not a good sign?

I agree. I would make an outstanding AD and hire a coach everyone would be proud of. My first and only call is to Boca Raton. Done and done. It's not rocket science man. Eff the petty politics and bullsh1t. You want to win or you want to hold grudges like 7th grade girls while getting your ish pushed in by Vandy and KY?

No I didn't want to keep Butch but I don't have a man crush on Gruden like you. You probably get up on Easter morning and expect the Easter Bunny to bring you something. Do you still believe in the tooth fairy?
