I said this last night but not a lot of people were on so I’ll ask again.

Does anyone remember a report or remember hearing on the radio that the university tossed around the idea of addressing the Grumors a day or so before announcing the next coach? That would be the best thing for them to do. To at least come out and say Gruden said no... it would let us cope. Maybe I just dreamed this but I could of swore I heard or read it somewhere.

yeah, i think what's making Pruitt palpable at this point are the stories of who might be on that staff. and it's enticing.

one of the main reasons i backed off the ledge last night/this morning....:p

Saban gets most of the recruits he wants.

Ask yourself, if saban doesn't have bama rolling like he does. What does the coaching look like around the sec.. saban ran off urban at florida.... think about that..

Ridiculous. Great coaches are not scared of Nick Saban, and several have beat him (past and present coaches... Malzahn, Freeze, Spurrier, Miles, Meyer). Urban ran off Urban at FL, coupled with a dwindling talent pool (e.g. Tebow, Harvin and others).

Just trying to keep the dream alive. Wasn't it planned that it was going to look bad and Currie was going to sweep in and be the hero. Is it possible that the narrative is the same except with Fulmer at AD? Straws..... grasping for them!!

If we do hire Pruitt, I will be disapointed and question the viability of his tenure. While Battle is a fine gentleman, I can't take another Bill Battle era at UT.

Nope! It’s not one or two incidents/errors in judgement. This is about who he his - leopards like that don’t change their spots, especially under high pressure. He may be a talented defensive mind but where the rubber meets the road for me is character. Would you put your son with a mentor of low character? Look what happened with Butch. That is Jeremy Pruitt - don’t believe me, call some former UGA or FSU players.

Because there is not ONE SINGLE SHREAD of evidence that he is a good head coach. None! I'm tired of being a dang experiment and don't even bring that crap of so and so was an assistant. We deserve better. Our peers ponied up and got a proven head coach.
