The only problem I ever had was when someone (not anyone in particular but in general) acted arrogant and got angry when a question was asked, whether positive or negative Gruden.

No ill-will toward anyone. There are maybe 2-3 people in this whole scheme in “real life” that could tell us what actually happened. Anything else is information passed along through various means from various parties.

The fun has been in the hope for a bright future and in trying to figure out who all to believe or not believe since it was never 100% yes or no.

Regardless of whether it's a pipe dream or not, it's the heartbeat of volnation. If not addressed before hand, it's a mistake should this hire be one of mediocrity.

Good morning everyone!

It was straight up Hatfields and McCoys in here last night. But I survived and am still here. Here's hoping we are happy when someone is at the podium. Lots of smoke for sure!

Another thing that's been bugging me is the reports that Steele and Pruitt are 'no nonsense' coaches who would end the party. Can a program like the Vols that depends so heavily on out of state kids and has to fight for top recruits really afford to be known as a hardass program? Fulmer mentioned fun in his list and I think UTK has to be a place where players expect to have fun.

I agree. I at least want someone to officially say they made the call and were declined. I just don't expect it to happen. Maybe Currie will address it someday. If I were him and they didn't offer me my full buyout, I'd probably write a tell-all.

Agreed. If this comes to pass, Gruden’s agent will drop a note that says something like “this was never even a consideration.” That’s what happened in 2012.

Good morning volnation!

Could be an interesting day. I don’t know about you guys, but one way or the other, I’m ready for this train to come to an end.
Let’s hope it’s good news.
I wish there was a way this beautiful group could all stay in touch. It’s been an amazing ride.
