Kinda gloomy in here the last 12 hours or so. I don't remember seeing Fulmer at the podium with anyone yet, and I haven't heard an official no from Gruden. Just all speculation from random posters.

But is there supposed to be an announcement today? (serious question)

OLEVOLFAN is in the Pruitt threads predicting an announcement today. Lol

He REALLY wants to be an insider.

My thoughts are...Fulmer knows the heartbeat of VN, it's Gruden. With that said, I don't see Fulmer trotting out a nobody and not addressing the Gruden rumors before hand. You have to get the fan base on board with the "new" hire. I would imagine, "if" not Gruden, it's a good hire the media hasn't mentioned. JMO

Well, we won’t have to wait long to hear from Gruden, he’s on Golic and Wingo at 705am, ESPN2.

I think that's the sense of it based on multiple reports/conjectures that Fulmer wants to have someone in place to talk with the visiting prospects this weekend.

I think he probably said no as well. The thing we’ll never know is who we were unable to approach or compete with if we thought he was seriously considering us. I also wonder if it was him before Schiano and then it was him again after until the Giants job opened up. I was never sold that he would go back to Tampa, but NY is a different story.

I would like to know the real truth... we were told repeatedly that Gruden wanted this job ... especially early on.

I well recall the reassurance offered by many insiders (especially Beaver) that Gruden would not say no.

I often posted that Gruden was the reason I did not go 100% because I did not know what he would do... but repeatedly attacked and called a nega because I asked the question.

It became evident to me about 3 weeks ago that for many they were simply protecting their e-cred.

I just really want to hear the truth for Once so it will finally be settled

I don't see him saying anything about another coach during the introduction presser for the new one he just hired.

To me that would be disrespectdul to whoever it is.

I don't think there will be a peep spoken about Gruden from anyone until some time passes by.

Heading up I-75 to a liability insurance (for engineers) seminar in Knoxville. Will be interesting if when the news is announced, during someone's presentation, if the whole room jumps up with excitement or a there is big groan/sigh in unison. 🤓

I'm really curious who the mystery candidate that has been mentioned by several people is. I think Trey Wallace and some Celina person are two of the bigger "insiders" that have alluded to it.

If people want to troll that's their business. The only thing I'm responsible for is me, what I choose to believe, and how I react to it.

Trust me, I have a temper but I choose to save it for things that mean something in my life, not what someone tells me on a message board.

Not that some idiot coming in and telling all of us how delusional we are can't get me going. 😉😉

I have zero tolerance for a busy body or an "I told you so." Worry about yourself. I'll be just fine.

Personally, my temper got much harder to lose after this debacle of a season and complete FUBAR coaching search.
