Not that they have great insight but Channel 2 news in Nashville just reported that Fulmer wants to make an announcement today or tomorrow and Steele looks to be the top target.

imagine being on trial, and some of these hysterical handwringers in here are on the jury that will decide your case....

now THAT is something that will make ya nervous as hell !

As long as your attorney wears an orange tie and the key witnesses speak extremely vague with the occasional "soon" thrown in then you have nothing to worry about.

Any cross-examination will be completely ignored.

Good morning, everyone! I'm not reading the 90 pages I missed last night, but I did read the last 20 or so.

I think it's funny that everyone thinks Pruitt would bolt from HC at TN to HC st Alabama upon the retirement of Saban. There won't be a worse job in the NCAA than Bama when Saban retires. Everybody will know that is a 3 or 4 year job at most. If Pruitt had done well at TN, he wouldn't leave for the shark infested waters of Bama post Saban.

Dabo is the only one who had to build anything but that is correct. Does anyone think that, if Pruitt came here and had some success he wouldn't leave us high and dry if he gets the call when Saban retires? We'd be like Miss State with Mullen, always looking behind our backs. I'd rather not go that route.

Food for thought: If that happens, that means we’ve been pretty successful. I’d be ok with that.

I don't know about that. If he can leave Bama to succeed in the piranha infested waters of Tennessee, $hark$ in Bama would be nothin' to him.

If, after three years the trajectory is pointed towards a championship caliber team then renegotiate a huge buyout if he leaves.

Out of the names being tossed around last night all we can do is hope the staff is stacked and we catch lightening in a bottle. It could be worse, we could try to hire the Ohio St DC....

Oh wait

I'm still here.

Haven't slept at all tonight. Not because of this coaching search though, have no clue why.

Guess I'll stay up and get an early start on the job tomorrow.

I think Gruden did say no. Really disappointed in him if Fulmer met all his demands and he still turned us down.

Speaks volumes about him.

Still in wait and see mode.
